Istanbul food is arguably world's best: the delicate touch, refined tastes, aromatic and textured, Istanbul food is quite extraordinary: therefore, Babaji has high bar to climb if it wishes to be considered a true Turkish quality. And it meets the challenge superbly. Babaji has several...More

We visited this restaurant after going to a nearby theatre. It is probable that they will have fewer regulars and more people like us, visiting occasionally so there could be a risk of being impersonal. This turned out not to be the case. First of...More

Although this place is known for pide (pizza-like Turkish flatbread), I was in the mood for something else and enjoyed a Turkish salad, chicken shish and a spicy turnip juice. The service was friendly and prices reasonable. Next time, I will try the pide.

We didn't have a reservation, but we arrived very early as we were going to the theatre. I would suggest you make a reservation if you are planning to go later in the evening.
