Amazing restaurant in the centre of London with a wide range of tasty Korean food. Good range of vegetarian options, fab Korean beer - what's not to love?

Arirang have been going since 1975 and I've been visiting since 2003. Their kimchi (chilli fermented cabbage) and kosaree namul (bracken) are worth the trip alone. They make an excellent bibimbap (rice and veg in a hot stone bowl topped with egg and served with a spicy sauce you add your self), korean pancake (like an Okonomiyaki) and tteokboki (rice... More

Totally found by chance, me and my friends walked past and all breathed in and said 'wow that smells delicious!'. We got a table straight away and the service was very good. The food was to die for, I ended up overeating because it was too good to leave! I recommend the Jap Chae and the Kan Poong Gi. Absolutely... More

Not a fancy place, but such a good surprise. Very good and authentic Korean food, with a large choices of dishes. The location is great near the shopping area and theatres.

This is one restaurant that I always want to return to every time I am in London. I recommend BBQ of nice lean meat with kimchi lettuce and beautiful sauces that come with Balgoogi balkulbi and beef tongue.

My friends and me were there for dinner. This is my first time trying Korean food. So it took me a while to decide what i wanted to order. My friends were ordering, and I was looking at the special Japanese dishes on the menu that they have. Then the waiter say "huh? it's a Japanese menu" then he said... More

I'm sorry to say that this place was such a disappointment for me and my friend. We went there after work for a nice dish of noodles. Firstly our waitress took us downstairs, where there was no one and and it was like eating alone locked in a basement. You should renovate it and make people feel nice and cozy,... More

The food is not good. The meat are not fresh, probably over marinated. The environment is bad, especially the basement floor, crowded and smoky. The service is alright, although the waitress really don't know how to cook the beef.

I am Korean born, American now living in Europe for the past ten years. So, I think I am well qualified to know what is or isn't a good Korean food and a restaurant is, and this is not one. I have now eaten there twice, not because it is good, but due to a location being just off the... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
