About
Highly praised by Time Out, La Collina serves stunning modern and traditional Italian cuisine, from fresh fish dishes to homemade pastas. Enjoy a fine Italian wine in the minimalist dining room or dine in one of the two al fresco spaces; either the pavement spot or the pretty sheltered decking with greenery and flowers.

I'm confused about those good reviews, sorry but the food is bland, no flavour/cuisine (the main dishes - fish & lamb - were grilled with no flavour or sauce, not even a drizzle; the scallops were over salted and dry). The waiter didn't seem to...care much either about our experience. Not impressed.More

La Collina has been a fixture of the Primrose Hill dining scene for many years which says something about the food and service in an area which has numerous places to eat. Situated on a small street near the Engineer pub we had an outside...pavement table. The garden is preferred at the rear of the property by most people (it was a period of very hot weather so no one wanted to be inside) though we were fine on the street and it was nice to see life walking by. We found the food very good and enjoyed all the al la carte options we choose. We both had fish mains (note it is exactly as per the menu so select a side if you are hungry) which were well cooked and great flavour. Desert was a fruit tart which lasted about 3 minutes. The is a good selection of wines though prices do climb quickly and for a neighbourhood restaurant we did not find it especially cheap though the standard is good and it made a welcome change. Service was friendly and relaxed - we will go again.More

Been coming to la collina for several years a reliable local venue for us just 10 mins from hampstead. Sitting in their garden sipping a bellini contemplating the menu we thought how pleasant it was to return here after that long break . All we...had was very good , tasty scallops ,papardelle with ragu di ossobuco followed by passion fruit cheesecake and tiramisu . Welcome back la collina and all the pleasant staff. iMore

Thank you Collina, delicious as ever. The walnut salad and mozzarella was amazing. So happy you are doing such a great takeaway menu.

Don’t go there !! So rude and unprofessional !! We decided to go for dinner after a nice day and we booked a table trough Opentable. When we arrived the waiter told us that he has given our table and that we needed to find...another restaurant !!! Unacceptable !! Specially on a Saturday night at 20:15 when everything else is fully booked !! So please avoid that horrible restaurant there are some many nice options in London !! Villa Bianca in Hampstead is so much nicer for example !!!More

Dear Mrs Corren, unfortunately your booking has been placed 5 minute before you arrived and just before the last table has been seated, before the booking where closed on opentable, apologies for the disconfort, the waiter suggested to come back in 20 minutes to have the table.

Came early for dinner after work on a Friday. Can’t recommend the food- and the service- enough. And I asked the staff to suggest a wine and they did. Padres from Sardinia. Great meal. Thank you.

A close friend who I have not seen for a while treated me to dinner at La Collina located in the famously upmarket Primrose Hill area. I did not order as I left that to my host, the ambience was friendly, the service very good...as was the food and wine. Will return............More

A small restaurant with a great ambience, situated between Primrose Hill and Camden town. The food is Italian, of course, and it is simply excellent. The burrata is great and would highly recommend the seafood taglioline. Everything on the menu was attractive. You know when...the food is good there is not much conversation! A small excellent wine list and very well priced - always a welcome surprise for a London restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend.More

I have been to La Collina a few times, always a friendly warm welcome. Food is always well presented and tastes great, my favourite is the lobster linguine.

The reason this restaurant has flourished in a quiet, out-of-the-way spot is because it's exceptionally good. A much-loved local. Maitre d' Patrick is a real pro and the food is outstanding. Simple but stunning Italian food - upmarket yet totally comforting.
