I looked for a place near the design museum as we wanted to have lunch before an exhibition. The staff where very friendly and I had people coming to meet us after lunch for a couple of birthday drinks so they gave us a bigger...table. The food was lovely. I had the sea bass and my fiancé had the steak. Now he’s really fussy about his steaks and he said it was really well cooked and one of the best he’s had. Our waitress was very friendly and service was good and they checked on us regularly. For desert we had the sticky toffee pudding and the brownie. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for. The best I’ve ever had I highly recommend it. Lovely find and a few minutes from the museum.More

This place was recommended so I thought I would give it a trying on my visit to London. What a spectacular recommendation. This place is amazing. We had to make reservations just to get in so that’s usually a great sign. Once we entered the...staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were some challenges with the COVID protocol in place but they were certainly managing the situation and managing our expectations. I had already been told about the lamb shoulder but they also had a daily special board which at the time had sea bass on it. I asked our server what she recommended and she said both were good the Lamb was her favorite so I went went with the lamb. LAWD HAB MERCY! I’m so glad I went to the lamb because that BAD BOY was SCRUMPTIOUS! I can’t wait to go back and try something else! If you are ever in London you certainty need to stop by and try them out. Do yourself a favor though. Make a reservation otherwise you’ll be waiting a long time. Y’all be easy! Drew ✌🏾More

A great place to visit. They have outdoor seating so that’s good. Food was very good. Their liver parfait was fantastic. As was the salmon starter. From the mains, the lamb and burger is nice. And their sticky toffee pudding - lip smackingly good. Friendly...staff (shout out to the Aussie/sounding Swedish girl who was very helpful)! Book a table because outdoor seating is limited.More

Cosy old pub with candle lighting and a homely, traditional feel. Great selection of drinks (my personal favourite is Seafarers ale) and good food. Well hidden and dog friendly. There's a separate restaurant area at the back, but you can order the same food anywhere...in the pub, you just need to find a spare table! When this awful lockdown finally ends make sure you go! Free Wi-Fi if you're with 02, not sure about other networks.More

A change and not for the best. This Kensington staple on Edwardes Square used to be a hidden gem; located on one of the best London squares, it served great food, reasonably-priced wines in a relax environment. This has all changed. I am not sure...if if it is the change of management a couple of years ago, or just plain carelessness but the food is now about average, the service is a hit or miss and, unfortunately, (I have to say it) this pub’s dining room is clad with the worst toilet smell all year-long! Plumbing needs to be checked. It is bad and will ruin your average meal. What a waste...More

Was staying at nearby Holiday Inn so just picked this from the map and booked a table for Saturday night. Didn't know what to expect but the staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Food was really tasty. A lovely find in the...middle of London. Wanted to get away from the expensive bars and restaurants around here and we certainly hit gold. Cannot understand the negative reviews, they must have just. been unlucky and visited on the pub's off day. Would recommend and definitely visit again if we are in that part London.More

Hidden gem bar / pub / restaurant off Kensington. Good selection of food and wine. Mice atmosphere with the open fire. You might see one or two famous politicians and writers here consuming beverages in their corners.

No water given had to wait an age to order. Sent one meal back as inedible. Would have sent my pie back as it was burnt did not want to make more fuss but no one asked why most of my food was on plate....Filthy fork. My guest from America who had nothing to eat as had been sent back requested vanilla ice cream, run out, how can a restaurant run out of Vanilla ice cream !More

I could not believe the bar attitude on a quiet afternoon when I walked in and politely waited.. and waited.. holding a £5 note (I do realise a pint costs more) to be served a drink. The young barman had his back to me and...didn’t say ‘I’ll be with you’. Five minutes later after being coldly ignored by both him and the other barman who was busy chatting to the chef I left. What is their problem?More

I've had a word with the team to be more vigilant and to concentrate more with the bar. I am sad this has happened to you and I can assure you this is not how we operate.
