Recently got back to this upmarket pub. I have been a regular for more than 20 years, both as a London visitor as well as during 5 years living in London. My last visit before this one was the day in November when the former...More

The Scarsdale Tavern is set among the residential streets of Kensington and it is a gem. Very traditional interior with a great tree covered beer garden. Food is standard pub fare and the beer well kept. There is something very English about having a pint...More

Was sent back to the kitchen. Something has happened to the pub, change of management? Used to be packed with guests.

Cozy pub with kind service. Good meal and great beers. Frontier beer was a good choice. Relaxed atmosphere with candles in some of the tables. Worth a visit.

I can’t remember having such a disappointing meal - it would be hard for the chefs to have produced such poor quality, tasteless drivel ... The staff were very friendly and pub busy with an excellent selection of beers! Great atmosphere! I used to frequent...More

I'm local to the area, don't often come in, great pub and atmosphere but seriously Scarsdale you're a W8 pub, sort out your food! Last roast was absolute school canteen mush. Just send someone over to Havelock tavern not far away and sample their beef...More

Superb food and service. Elegant atmosphere. Elevated traditional English offerings like Steak and Ale Pie were out of this world. GM could not have been more attentive and lovely and gave us helpful tips and what to see and do in London. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Just loved this place, a classic old English boozer with a warm atmosphere, which was just perfect for a cold March day. The Scarsdale Tavern has a wide selection of English Ales and an awesome gastro menu, offering a fine selection of English classic dishes....More

You realize that you are posting a "question" to an online forum made up primarily of travelers/diners - and that it is reasonably likely that the management/staff of the Scarsdale will never see it? I'd suggest that you... More

A delightful pub in Kensington, The Scarsdale Tavern's fine food and peaceful ambience have made it one of the best places to drink in the area. With great food and real ales, it's an excellent place to take it easy for a few hours and watch the world go by.
