As we were going to the Opera in the evening, we needed a filling lunch. Where better than the Real Greek? Really good, tasty food which left us full (but not stuffed!). There were a number of options that gave us great value - it's really nice to feel there are a real range of options on offer. We opted... More

We had the octopus, the lamb cutlets, tzaziki, the Aegean prawns and the olives. Everything was amazing! The house wine is very bad, so try to avoid it. The rest is amazing, the staff is very nice and has nice atmosphere. We highly recommended!

Friendly staff and amazing food! They had one of the best hummus I have ever had. I like the concept with small dishes that you order and share. Next time in London, we will be back!

I had such amazing time at this restaurant. The food was lovely as usual and the service was just extraordinary. Our waitress Maddie (or Mady?) was the nicest person in the world. She took such good care of us! I met friends as it was my birthday a few weeks ago. While she was taking our order she heard us... More

The special thing about this place is the service. It's very friendly -- one almost feels like they're visiting good friend instead of a restaurant. But the food is also great. It's served tapas style -- small portions (to be shared). The lamb and potatoes are particularly good. The ambiance is nice -- bright and airy. Prices are fairly reasonable.

Good bread, hummus, aubergine, feta filos. Merlot very nice. Bit loud and crowded. Calamari could be crispier. Generally very good!

We had a great selection of food here. Flatbreads, salad, falafel, seafood, chicken... Coupled with some nice Greek white wine I'd not heard of. It was a nice atmosphere with live music and lots of buzz (it was a Saturday). Good value too. Almost went past as it was in the market itself, but glad we didn't. Worth a visit.

Hadn't seen this group of Greek restaurants before. Visited Spitalfields and loving Greek food (& Greece) we decided to give it a try. Went for the Peloponnese sharing menu for two (you do get alternatives to choose within that selection). Very good value at £32 for two. Went for the flatbread, tzatziki, gigantes, tiropittakia, chicken souvlaki, lamb kefte, Greek Salad... More

I recently took my sister here, who i have to say was a little reluctant, however we both loved the selection of food a tasty selection which you could share. The platters arrived swiftly. The staff were friendly.

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
