Layla and her team really went above and beyond for our wedding in April 2019! Layla helped us put together a fantastic menu and Loredana picked out some lovely wines, all of which our guests loved. Layla was a fantastic person to work with, from...our first meetings several months before hand, to making sure she was on hand to receive deliveries, right up to adding some lovely decorative touches on the day, while the whole venue team were lovely and helpful all evening.More

We found it a little weird to find a piece of chicken on a plate of what should've been a steak sandwich with chips. Not wanting to make a fuss we told the waiter expecting at least some sort of recognition for their mistake, instead...he simply took the chicken from me, put it in his pocket and walked over to serve another customer. I mean I'm not expecting gourmet here but this kind of service isn't worthy of a fast food chain let alone the 12.5% they charge. The chewy steak and salty fish is a story for another review. Won't be recommending or returning. The only thing that saved us from walking out and not paying was the 2 helpful female staff who actually cared and apologised.More

We booked the back room of the Vintry for our office staff party this year and we really liked the space. It was just big enough for our party of around 25 and the food was really substantial and tasty. The only problem is that...there is access to another room, outside and a toilet through the private space which meant that we had a few randoms wondering through on a number of occasions... I wonder if there needs to be a sign up when there are private parties to prevent this in future?More

Low quality food, service is also poor. Side dishes arriving after we had finished our main meals. Food proportions also bad, tiny piece of bread with the pate for example. Very overpriced for the quality of food. Food descriptions also not accurate representation of the...dishes.More

Been going to the Vintry for years most recently a Friday lunch. This place is always busy and attracts - can I say - a typical city crowd. It is a large space and many are taken for lunch though you can book online to...ensure a table. The food is fine (average/good) and service is quick and efficient. Of note is the wine list and our bottle of Pinot Grigio was excellent. It makes for a good lunch spot in the City whether with colleagues or friends.More

These people added over £60 to our bill for drinks we’d not had. After initially apologising, they proceeded to over-refund via card then request cash back. Way to go scumbags

I often go to The Vintry, the service is superb, the food very tasty and there is a fantastic selection of wines! So I decided to join with my colleague a wine tasting experience hosted here (we both work in the spirit industry). As it...is getting colder and colder, the host decided it would have been more appropriate to try red wine. We tried 4 different wines from different countries. Our host, Dana, was super knowledgeable and very passionate about her wines. She explained what makes those wine unique and kept answering to all our questions. There were some snacks on the table too, a delicious Italian salami with olives and homemade bread. The bread was delicious and Dana explained that they bake it at The Vintry daily. I will definitely be joining the spring session about white wine! Thank you Dana, it was super enjoyable!More

We got married in Santorini but was looking for somewhere to hold our London reception. We looked absolutely everywhere and finally came across The Vintry. We had the most amazing time from start to finish. We were looking for somewhere with a late license, allowed...children, good food and accommodating team all of which we found here. Layla is amazing and met us on a couple of occasions before the wedding to help with the planning. Nothing was too much she made sure everything was perfect. Looks completely different than on the website- as a wedding reception it transforms and is truly spectacular. All our guests commented on how friendly the staff were and how quick they were served. We had 160 guests and are a lively bunch that can be a handful but the vintry staff took it all in their stride. Thanks so much to the amazing Layla and rest of the team - we will be back! I went to the Vintry for dinner with my friends on a busy Thursday evening. I brought was 4 month old baby with me so I called a few days prior to ask if that would be ok And book a table. The staff were...so considerate and helpful, they booked us the most secluded space, turned down the music in our area, were attentive throughout the evening, friendly and helpful. Food was lovely as well.More
