On a business trip to London and went here again for a meal. Quality of food was good if not great. Karahi murgh was a bit too dry but very tasty. Service was great and although it was busy I was served quickly and with a smile. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a decent Indian meal.... More

We had two main dishes here. THE Chicken Phaal. It was HOT - even the manager said he would not eat it as it was way too hot. The chicken pieces were still in solid pieces however it melted in the mouth. The Lamb Cutlets were the tastiest I had eaten - I always try them out. Will definitely be... More

This lovely restaurant was perfect for a romantic meal, set in St Katherines Dock which is a very pretty part of London. The food was excellent and the service just right.

Was it an accident or did the divine have a hand in having us wonder into this amazingly delicious restaurant! We were tired from walking most of London and were just drifting really unsure of where to go next, but as soon as we stepped into this restaurant we knew we were in the right place! Nothing like a table... More

Looked up this place after hearing it advertised on LBC (guess advertising does work!). Lovely being able to walk to the restaurant though St Katherine's Dock and the place itself looks nice. At first look of the menu it did seem a little of the pricey side, but actually we had the thali and it was very reasonable. The food... More

A party of 38 of us decided to go there for lunch to celebrate the graduation from university of many of our party. Vinnie was extremely accommodating, even keeping the restaurant open just for us beyond the opening hours. The service itself was quick and helpful as well. On the whole the food was good (especially the thalis) but some... More

We got a recommendation here from our hotel concierge. It was a 10-15 minute walk from Tower Hill station. We enjoyed the food! They has a 3 course special going on that was very filling. Good friendly service too

The food was fine, but I've certainly had better. The portion sizes were disappointing and when the two of us both ordered pilau rice, we received on dish of it, which was barely enough for 2 people. There are no free poppodoms, you pay £1 for each one which seemed excessive. Drinks were expensive and a service charge applied automatically.... More

I live in East London and all my local restaurants are mainly serving Bangladeshi cuisine which I'm not keen on. Mala serves proper Indian cuisine and it's absolutely wonderful. I'm vegetarian and I absolutely love this place, it's the only place i'll go to in East London now. If you're in the area you should definitely give it a try,... More
