Just came back from dinner at Giovanni. The food is good and prices are reasonable. But the restaurant manager was so loud he kept clapping and speaking in a loud voice that absolutely spoiled our evening. The two waitresses that served us were nice but barely spoke English and are very inexperienced. With the right training they can work out.... More

Tucked away on a side street just a few blocks from Harrods, this small Italian restaurant owned by an Albanian family provided our group of 6 with an outstanding Italian meal. The Dover Sole (a special) was probably the best I have ever had. The Burata starter was equally noteworthy. Several in our group had pasta which was expertly prepared.... More

Went here with friends for a casual light lunch. Great food, nice relaxed atmosphere, lovely wine and jelly beans (my favourite) served with coffee. What more could anyone ask for!

Great Italian food. Very warm hospitality and amazing location in the heart of Knightsbridge. Great for lunch and dinner as well.

This used to be called the Monza Restaurant. However, the food is much better now and the senior manager is there all the time to serve his clients. It is a very enjoyable place for good people.

Walked past many times but decided to give a go, great decision. The pasta is possibly the finest we have tasted, and the Milanese was superb. Very clean, very friendly and professional staff. Good wine choice also. Look forward to next visit

We went for a light lunch at Monza, and found Giovanni in its space... Nice(r) ambiance; a classy, tasteful small restaurant. But: their food was not tasteful! Our both pasta dishes were nicely 'al dente', but the 'con' ingredient was minute, practically microscopic, and lent no taste at the plate... A real disappointment for the tongue.

This place is a little gem in the heart of London, Knightsbridge. The food is delicious and the service is brilliant. The prices are very attractive and the manager made our evening a delight. We stayed till late and had a wonderful time. We will definitely return.

Tucked away off the main road. We went early on a Saturday night -quiet. Lovely food, and pretty good value given its location.

We felt immediately welcome. The decor was smart and comfortable. Then came the food. I started with piping hot (important that) delicious lentil soup. My husband wanted a salad and they made one especially for him, he said it was perfect. We ordered wine at $20 GBP that in the states would have cost double or more. So tasty, we... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
