The cocktails are pleasant but not exceptional. But at 6.30pm the music was loud and thumping with a headache inducing beat, which destroyed conversation. First I chose a cocktail that comes in a ceramic sea urchin on top of a wavy silver platform which the waiter found difficult to balance so it didn't spill. So did I. In the end... More

Quirky funky atmosphere but nice light and bright on a summers evening. Great attentive staff, interesting selection of original cocktails and old favourites. We went for pre dinner nibbles and cocktails and were welcomed back later in the evening like royalty! Staff really made a great effort. Defo one to add to the favourites list. Table booking essential unless you... More

Attentive service, amazing cocktails, great menu. It's been voted the best bar and it isn't hard to see why. Definitely a place one must visit at least once.

Visited the placeast night with a friend just to try something different and unique in London. Must admit we were impressed with the bar and the decor. Excellent choice of cocktails (signature cocktails at £18 each)

When you enter the technically "the best bar in the world"and you been in the industry for quite a long time to understand what a good bar is, obviously you create some sort of expectations...that unfortunately by far were not exceed. We visited the bar on a Thursday late night, and after courteously being escorted to our table we were... More

This bar is AMAZING. It truly is one of the best, if not THE best cocktail bar I have ever been to (and I have been to a few!). I went with my husband as I had bought him gift vouchers for our anniversary. We went on a Saturday afternoon and so it wasn't too busy. We had four cocktails... More

I really loved this bar in all my life. The surrealism cocktail menu what was created the previous famous bartenders is still working and the "new" guys can do the right way but i really miss Alex and Simone. That's the only reason why it's just 4. The waiting staff it's absolutely great they really do look after the customers.... More

Absolutely incredible bar for cocktails. I love that there is no reservation policy as you can just pop in when you can without rushing around. Amazing service, creative cocktails and beautiful surroundings. Despite it being in a hotel, you don't feel that in the bar, as it's very much secluded, and has its own entrance so you feel OK popping... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
