6 of us popped in for breakfast while visiting the King's Road. Great variety of fillings, good coffee, attentive staff and great value.

My brother and I passed by this place one day and decided to investigate, as we are both easily tempted by pancakes. We read a few reviews online which were mixed but decided to give it a crack and see for ourselves. We went for breakfast and both left disappointed. I really don't understand the attraction here. A huge plate... More

Save your apetite before visiting this place 😀 food and choices are delicious. We shared some cheese breaded pockets (dutch name uh!).and later a salty pancake with smoked ham, apple and maple syrup. Fantastically accompanied with nice beers. We also had traditional pofjerties (sorry can't spell) overall a great place. Full of people of all ages and nationalities...lovely family type... More

After friends telling me this was a good place to eat I went to their eatery in Kensington which ended up a bit disappointing. That was a good while ago and I thought I'd give this place (Kings Road) a look-in whilst I was with a colleague. I really enjoyed the My Old Dutch from the menu, the lunchtime we... More

We've been frequenting My Old Dutch for the past 26 years, since we moved to London. The King's Road Pancake House became our regular haunt for a quick bite to eat when we came to live in Wimbledon. Now that we live abroad we still make a concious effort to have a pancake whenever we're back in London. The quality... More

So tonight. Me and my boyfriend sat down and ordered some pancakes and drinks. As I was sitting there and a MOUSE run out from under the table. And ran under another table. I was a bit shocked. And told the Manager. He said yes we are aware and trying to sort the problem. Me and my boyfriend got up... More

Midweek lunch, Sunday Brunch great for resting tired feet after shopping and filling up on delicious mouth watering pancakes. A great selection of savoury and sweet pancakes or why not create your own. Just make sure you are hungry as the pancakes are very large. The actual cafe may not be that attractive to look at but people come here... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
