Overall an uplifting experience . Good ambience. I had mostly good service and good food. A refreshing change from nearby pubs, restaurants and other hotel bars. I love the high ceilings, the air conditioned brassy upscale decor and the way the primly uniformed waiting staff move around briskly attending to customers needs. Food including the bar snacks is varied and... More

I'm a connoisseur of business breakfasts. It's what I do best. I had high hopes for the 108 Brasserie as I'd visited before for drinks/ lunch and was impressed with the service and the atmosphere. Sadly, breakfast did not live up to my expectations. The decor/ setting is delightful, and walking past the buffet, I was excited about the a... More

My wife and I went with another couple to this restaurant and came away very happy. To our surprise it had gluten free food and a fairly varied menu. Quite often we deliberately avoid restaurants which are part of a hotel. This proved a wonderful exception.

Dear SMV5, Thank you for your review. It is great to read that we surpassed your expectations for a hotel restaurant. We certainly try to run the department so that it stands alone as a success and most of our hotel guests who dine with us would certainly agree with your sentiment. We often cater for a number of growing... More

I was taken aback by the hard sell from the pushy waiter. My food was delicious however it came at an inflated price (drink prices are huge). I had provided a discount voucher when I arrived as instructed however it was "overlooked" when my bill arrived. Interestingly I was not the only customer who received an incorrect bill.

What a great place for a treat, quiet, air conditioned, relaxing and good service. Being Gluten & Dairy free I was accomodated with a mix of everlasting Gluten & Dairy Free sandwiches, fruit salad plus a selection of rather good compatable cakes. You can eat as many sandwiches as you can and drink as much tea and coffee, but to... More

My husband had booked us into to the hotel and we decided that we would eat at the restaurant which we don't do very often. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar which is well serviced by waiters/waitresses who were all very polite, coming to take your order at your table. Nice little touch with complimentary nibbles. My husband... More

Good afternoon V57, It has made myself and the pantry team very happy to read your comments today. We cater for a lot of gluten free dietary requirements and we receive consistently good feedback. It is very important to us that we are able to treat guests with food intolerance's just as we would any other guest. To that end... More

we met some friends on a Friday evening and although we had got the booking mixed up (my fault) they still found a table for us. We met in the bar and had cocktails and champagne before being shown to table. Food was good and very reasonably priced (for Central London) and would certainly go back.

We had the set lunch menu and it is great value. Pigs cheek starter is delicious, the sea trout fillet, generous and sitting on a bed of broad beans - very seasonal. The chocolate pudding is to die for. Service is excellent.

Description
Set in the heart of Marylebone, 108 Brasserie offers a truly local all-day dining experience. The new 108 Brasserie, just off Marylebone High Street at the top of Marylebone Lane, will house two distinctive areas; the bar, a chic drinking and dining area and the brasserie's dining space, where its modern British dishes take centre stage. 108 Brasserie represents local dining at its best; hearty, uncomplicated food made from the highest quality ingredients centred around the restaurant's Josper grill. 108 Is open all day, seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner - great food, good wine and friendly service are the order of the day. The menu, inspired by food that's foraged, farmed and fished from our great isles, includes a wide selection of dishes where the emphasis is on fresh produce focusing on the seasons, balanced with its hand-picked wine list with something for everyone. The restaurant experience, from the service to the ambience make this unfussy space a local favourite. The interiors, designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors, reflect 108 Brasserie's traditional style with a modern twist. Rich red leather and burnt orange mohair upholstery combined with beautiful parquet and a dark stained oak bar creates a stylish and inviting environment. The antique mirrors and nickel detailing add a depth and sophistication to the design.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
