Veeraswamy, UK's oldest Indian restaurant in Piccadilly, has been the rendezvous of the famous and fashionable as well as lots of ordinary lovers of Indian food since its inception in 1926. The luxurious, chic, and exotic décor evokes Maharaja's palaces of the 1920s. A menu of classical dishes from throughout India is combined with more contemporary creations. National Geographic, the highly respected travel magazine, has ranked it as one of the 10 Best Destination Restaurants in the World. No other UK restaurant is in this top 10 list.

We returned for our anniversary meal with high expectations of yet another excellent meal and were not disappointed. Service was very friendly, atmosphere excellent and the food was superb. The Veeraswamy experience would be hard to beat. We will return.

Exceptional food, fine service, overall the best cure around. Always a special occasion to eat here and I have never been remotely disappointed. The biryanis are particularly good.

This is fine dining Indian style and it was incredible. The flavours were mind blowing, the service excellent and the presentation lovely. Obviously the prices are high, as there is a michelin star involved, but it was worth the money for the experience.
