Beautiful setting, courtyard garden was perfect for long Saturday lunch. Menu is a delight with a complimentary wine list. Quality of the food is really exceptional.

A hidden gem. You can be easily put down by the tiny ally where this restaurant is situated. But this place is one of the best Italian dishes that I have experienced in London. Service is very good and the decor is basic but elegant.

Disappointingly our favourite barman has now left but there are some wonderful staff still there! In true Italian style we are always served tasty antipasto. Would recommend a good cocktail at the bar first.

Went there with friends....we were six people in total. Four out of the six returned their mains. The lobster tagliolini was over cooked totally tasteless. Whilst the waiter took all the mains back (which I've never done to this scale in a rest before), nothing by way of an apology was on offer. Rather in a three quarters empty restaurant... More

We were delighted to find this restaurant (recommended by the hotel staff near by) as it's a lovely place (an old home) with superb food and friendly, helpful wait staff. Highly recommended.

The feeling I had entering for the first time was the same comforting one I had in the '70's walking into San Lorenzo ... Very nice waiters , friendly and present . The food is excellent . Slightly expensive (but then again I am Italian and we are in London after all ! )

The very elegant setting imposes a high standard requirement for the food...and they do just that. With very well sourced products, their dishes are simply delicious. Not to mention service which is friendly, professional and very attentive. Great restaurant for lunch and for dinner. Highly recommend!

Nice place, great service, excellent (the best from last years) mozzarella burrata, good beef, excellent chianti (close to French rich style).

Went here for lunch in April with colleagues. Had truffle risotto which was so heady and rich I could have had the same for main. I am glad I didn't however as I had lamb cutlets which came with a smoked aubergine thing and a pea puree. The dish was sublime. By far the best italian I have been to... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
