Words cannot describe this hotel now! Fantastic beef carved at your table. Delicious wines, cocktails, now that's an experience in itself! Wonderful champagne. Very efficient staff, so well trained. Cannot praise this place highly enough, just go, relax in the ambience and enjoy every little bit. Really cannot wait for my next visit! Sunday lunch at its best.

Are here during the London Restaurant Festival. We were wowed by the service and staff. The meat cut at the table in front of you and Paul was a delight to meet. His service oozed class.

Was this really for us? Family occasion for four at one of the most famous and expensive hotels in the uk. Answer, yes, from the moment we walked through the doors, the staff could not do enough for you. The deco and charm was in abundance. We where shown to the bar, coats taken and seated at a table nibbles... More

Had lunch here last Friday and the food and service was excellent. Chose from the Al La Carte menu and the pork main course was delicious. They served a stilton bread which we could have just continued eating but there were so many other wonderful dishes. The service was top standard and we have never had bad service at any... More

Great atmosphere, excellent cuisine, friendly staff, value for money. What more could you ask for? Even with the set menu my dietary requirements were accommodated. Our waiter was super! I even got a celebration surprise. We loved it and will be back !

A trip for my girlfriends birthday, and my first time in this austere hotel. A great start as booking was slick, and arriving to a very warm and efficient welcome at reception is always good. Although a set menu had been planned, and not a la carte - it was still even better then expected. We were treated like royalty... More

We went on a quiet sunday night and had to keep calling out for a waiter everytime we wanted to order a drink or food etc. Even then they forgot drinks for a someone in the party twice and there was only 6 of us!! Cocktails were very boring. The sushi starter was presented well but tasteless. the main courses... More

Date night at the Dorchester, very romantic. Despite the much-hyped boycott of The Dorchester by those who do not agree with the owner's implementation of Sharia Law in his country The Dorchester was heaving on the night we visited for dinner. We had to wait a short while at the marvellous bar until our table was ready, but the wait... More

It is some time since we have visited the Grill at the Dorchester which is now much more modern than the previous "clubby" atmosphere. Decor is splendid with a magnificent chandelier taking "centre stage", gilt inlaid walls and smart marble flooring. Tables are large and comfortable but fairly close together. We had chosen the set menu with a glass of... More

Our iconic Mayfair restaurant has been transformed for a new culinary chapter. First established in 1931, The Grill at The Dorchester quickly gained a reputation as the place to be for the finest grill food in London. In keeping with this original concept, Alain Ducasse's protege Christophe Marleix has created new seasonal menus.

Delicious dishes range from grill favourites alongside the restaurant's signature blue lobster chowder and an extensive sweet souffle menu - the first of its kind in London.

Lively and welcoming, the re-imagined restaurant fuses The Dorchester's iconic elegance with a contemporary tone and creative details. Interior architect Bruno Moinard was commissioned by The Dorchester to create a vibrant and timeless setting.

For an exclusive event in an iconic yet timeless setting, the restaurant can accommodate groups and private events for up to 30 guests or reserved for exclusive use - please contact us for more information.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
