Historic riverside pub where Charles II dined with his mistress Nell Gwynne. Owned by Fullers since 1796, comfortable interior rooms with open fire and two outside terraces with tables overlooking the river. Welcoming helpful staff and well kept real ales. Mezze platter, fresh crab and...generously portioned beer battered fish and chips are all recommended.More

Great food and great service The menu was vast, plenty of options - it was a difficult choice to make! The food was fresh, delicious and prompt Service was friendly, genuine and perfect of for a late Saturday afternoon Never felt rushed and all COVID...secure I would 100% recommended for a drink or a meal with a beautiful atmosphere and perfect locationMore

Found the Dove on a walk along the river, had a nice lunch with a couple of drinks, menu was small but perfectly formed! Had the crab roll with fries, all our party had great food with good selection of ales. Staff were very friendly...and we had a really nice time, will return in the future.More

Worse bar staff than the Rutland, ignored when standing at the bar. Unclean tables and just a poor experience. The pub obviously has plenty of character and history but once agin let down by initial greetingMore

Hi Steve, I am very sorry to hear you were ignored at the bar. This is not the standard of service we thrive for and train our team to deliver. Could you please email me on dove@fullers.co.uk more details (ie. date and time of your...More

One of London's oldest and most textured pubs along the Thames River - worth visiting if you are down for some traditional experiences although the food is miles above what anyone would call 'pub grub' as Red Snapper, for example, was the featured fish. Pints...feel bigger here and they have a full compliment of A+ wines. Very local hangout and worth a stop in any time of the year. LOVE that they are dog friendly (complete with water bowls).More

One of London's most characterful pubs, and approached down a tiny alley, the Dove oozes history, with some of the most wonderful stone floors you'll find anywhere. Good river outlook too. Highly recommended... once you've somehow got over that motorway that runs nearby. Well-kept London...Pride beer.More

This used to be our favourite local pub with good Sunday roasts and often our first choice to take friends, family and visitors. Unfortunately tonight’s dinner was a complete let down. To start off, the Bellini was disappointing. Then quite a few of the food...options were “sold out” despite it being early (6pm), tomato soup seemed straight out of some tin, and Stilton+smoked walnut tagliatelle was bland. We sincerely hope that it’ll get back to the high quality gastro pub that it used to be.More

We are locally based and have used this pub several times for special Sunday lunches. Never been let down. Today Roasts were cold. Meat was tasty. Cold mushy 2 x halves unroasted potatoes. Cold wet greens, tasty but cold cauliflower gratin and huge soggy cold...Yorkshires. Pls go back to one sitting. Charge more and make Sundays as good as your midweek lunches. Too many sittings, precooked food and a sad offering for our son's birthday. Desserts we're excellent. Waitress and waiter delightful and to be fair, we were asked how the meal was we said it was tasty but cold. It arrived 5 mins after we ordered....thank you for the complimentary desserts. We'll choose weekdays in future.More

This is a fabulous little pub, near Hammersmith and well worth a trip. It’s an olde fashioned place and the staff are delightful and very helpful. The food is good, well presented and reasonable value. The beers are well kept and there is a good...choice. Would recommended to those looking for a great pub on the river with some good views. Advisable to book a table if you want to eat.More

Yes we do! The kitchen is open until 9PM. If you are thinking of joining us, I would highly recommend to book a table in advance. Kind regards Sonia
