The cafe is small, crowded and often closed, but if you can happen to get a table the food is great. I had Cauliflower Risotto - it was amazing!

It may be hard to believe, but one of the world's great auction houses has a cafe where anyone can walk in and have tea and coffee. We came here one afternoon for tea and scones and had a wonderful time sitting among expensive works...More

We booked afternoon tea in the restaurant and it was fabulous. Lovely selection of goodies. Staff very polite and friendly. Added bonus to be able to look at exhibitions of art work in auctions coming up in the next few days. The restaurant also has...More

In the busy entrance lobby to the famous auction house, this discreet café is perhaps not an obvious choice for lunch in glamorous Mayfair, but we loved it. Small, stylishly decorated with iconic black & white framed photographs, it's an oasis of calm & restraint....More

We went for lunch and yes the restaurant is fairly compact, but we found the atmosphere to be extremely relaxing even though people were walking past nearby to visit the viewing galleries. The menu is not extensive, but we settle for the salmon and the...More

A nice find for good coffee and nice cakes in a super setting. I’d have had Sotherby’s down as being a little standoffish, but you can check out some of the art that’s coming up for auction too, a bit like a gallery. Not many...More

Relaxing afternoon tea after walking around the area. Like the tranquility of the cafe. Not busy, not noisy. Love the scones a lot with a complexity of textures. The free viewing of Bowie's collection is a plus to the experience!

My friend took me for lunch at The Cafe in Sothebys today. I had no idea that it even existed and thought it was just the gallery. The building is beautiful and as soon as we were through the doors, we were treated to the...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed

London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic
streets will reveal that Michelin stars and
chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even
