Back in London we were keen to visit RSJ once more and were not disappointed. The food and service were good, and yes we did book on the day for an early dinner.

To RSJ for post theatre dinner. Quietish, but it was late. Excellent food, tiny pink tuna squares with various delicious sauces, simple salmon off the prix fixe ( the curse of IBS eliminated quite a lot of the menu) but delicious. Rabbit with risotto declared excellent, a good wine list and a very decent and interesting pudding wine to finish.... More

This is a charming little restaurant , near Waterloo and all the theatres , cinemas, galleries and concert halls in that area . It's upstairs in a building which was originally a stables . The menu is good with a fine range of choices . Food is well cooked and well presented . The wine list is unusual being composed... More

Having been here a couple of years ago we booked again before going on to the Old Vic. The waiting staff were welcoming and efficient, fully aware that we couldn't linger and happy to advise with the menu where necessary. Three of the party chose from the set menu which represents good value. The sardine bruschetta was well presented and... More

I heard about RSJ through two colleagues who highly recommended it. I decided to have my birthday dinner with work here, and was not disappointed. This place is understated elegance. The service was fabulous, and the atmosphere was superb. The place was packed, but at no point did you realise there were others around you. The quality of the food... More

Visited for a pre theatre meal. Great food, good service. Lovely Resturant. Menu a little limited, but we had a good choice of options. Expensive, but reasonably priced for this type of food. Good wine list.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at RSJ. We were a party of 5 booked in at late notice. We are staying nearby and tried this restaurant on a whim. Every meal was excellent especially the dessert. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will recommend to friends travelling to London.

We ate again at RSJ last night. Hadn't been here for a couple of years and was delighted to say it's as good as ever. Wonderful food, reasonably priced and a fascinating wine list concentrating almost entirely on the Loire, vineyard by vineyard.

Went there last Friday for the second visit as previously I had a really great meal there and thought it was a great little find with nice food and a great wine list. The others ordered the cote de boeuf one was cooked right the other over done but unfortunately my rabbit was raw. I asked the waiter about it... More

Really impressed. The dining room itself is intimate but light and airy. A mature crowd at pre theatre time so not so lively but I imagine it does have a good atmosphere when filled up. Service was prompt and friendly and the waitress helped with our wine selection. We chose from the a la carte but the prix fixe was... More
