We liked the look of this place so booked, and were glad we did. By 21.00 there was a queue of people being sent to the pub opposite to wait. Food was straightforward, simple, tasty, Italian. An oven in the basement provided wood fired pizzas...More

Looking for a tasty but light lunch on a Sunday, we walked into Red Pepper and were delighted to experience real Italian pasta cooked perfectly in this small and cosy restaurant on Formosa street. We were greeted and served in a very friendly and welcoming...More

The waitress, young blonde with glasses, was not welcoming at all. She was constantly rude with a bad attitude and finally she made us feel uncomfortable when she gave us the bill without a notice that they are closing. The pizza was really nice and...More

Had lunch, party of 4. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us plenty of time to choose, it was a very leisurely lunch, didn’t feel rushed. The food was delicious, and generous portions.

The Red Pepper is an authentic Italian restaurant, there is a feel of 'family' about the place. The menu is very concise, some excellent starters, I had a wonderful Sea Bass Cervice. The pasta is excellent and obviously home made. We really enjoyed the lunch....More

Food quality was average to disappointing (brushetta and squid were fine but not great and pasta cacio e pepe far from shining and comparable to the Italian recipe). The pasta portion was small. Great environment though (charming street with tables outside)

Our first visit was lunch with friends and we all enjoyed the food on offer. The pasta was fresh and well flavoured. The pizza was a delight. It was hard to settle on a dessert because they all sounded delicious. I can confirm that the...More

We had not been to this restaurant for ages. The waitress that was at Kuku in Clifton Road is now working there. I think these restaurants are owned by the same person but not sure. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is well...More
