The food here is great. Very good italian fare. Wine can be slighly pricey depending on who you go with but the atmosphere is fabulous. I love it!

We took refuge in here from the pouring rain and ended up having a lovely meal. Pizzas are made fresh by the pizza oven and the staff were all lovely. They were happy to add and swap ingredients. All staff were friendly Italians and the owner chatted away to the customers. Location also lovely. Worth a visit.

The male waiter was so rude and defensive when I complained about my spaghetti. I have never been spoken to like that at a restaurant in london. The menu has changed, the restaurant was so loud I couldn't even speak to my family, and the food was horrible. Not going back!

After reading all the reviews, I'm extremely disappointed by the food, the atmosphere, and the service of this restaurant. Although the burrata and sea bass starters were excellent, the cotadini pizza and spaghetti were horrible. The vegetables on the pizza tasted raw, as if it was placed after the pizza was cooked. The spaghetti was hard, and when we informed... More

My favourite place in London for pizza! I'm Italian, so pizza is a big thing! I come to this place since 2009, the members of staff are amazing, especially the Asian guy who knows exactly what I'll order from time to time! Their tiramisu is to die for and I also tried their Negroni cocktail.. One of the few places... More

The restaurant is located by "little Venice" a beautiful affluent neighborhood in London. It's a cozy place. The food is very tasty and the portions are quite big. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. We ordered a salad which was not what we expected and decided to return it. They did not charge us for this .Enjoy. We... More

Been there on a Sunday for lunch, we did choosed our table as the restaurant had only a few customers and we didn't had a reservation, the food was really good, although not so many options. I can say that i ate the best pizza and rocket salad in my whole life, the waiting was a little to long but... More

We revisited this restaurant after some 20 years, the food is lovely and plenty of it, the staff are friendly, it is relaxing but the restaurant is looking tired, a Red Pepper mural would look nice on the wall in the actual restaurant and not just by the door.

Thank Louise I

In 1994, Red Pepper Restaurant set the standard for independent mid-price Italian restaurants in London by opening its doors to the public. It's secret: authentic pizza baked in its wood-burning oven brought over from Italy. Some of our regulars swear it's the best pizza in London and who are we to disagree? But Red Pepper is not just about pizza. We are dedicated to the best regional Italian cooking, from places seldom featured on most "nouveau Italian" menus - dishes from Sardinia, the Campania and the south; home-made, melt in the mouth pasta; sauces based on game and seafood, grills of the best, freshest catches of the day. Red Pepper restaurant is small, cosy, informal and welcoming. Whether you eat inside or alfresco, when you come to Red Pepper you come to a place where you can feel the pulse of London. Many locals, some of them good cooks and cookery writers regard it as their "second kitchen". It has been acclaimed time and again and been awarded for its honest rustic take on regional Italian food and service through the years.
