Food was really good . Had pakora and chicken madras and garlic nan was amazing . The only downside was the service charge which I think you should decide yourself if you want to pay for the service .

I have ordered from Punjab four times and was never deceived, I had been searching for an alternative restaurant to Dishoom a coveted Indian place in which you can never book and get a table. Punjab offers amazing food , fast service and delivery. My...personal favorites are : the chicken tikka masala, the chicken tikka, the chicken tikka wrap, Chicken khorma and saag paneer. I also recommend the popadums and the plain and garlic naan. I recommend this place and I look forward to eating there again !More

I have visited the restaurant twice this month - first time I went with my friend who LOVES this place, so I was persuaded to give it a try. The chicken tikka-masala is lovely The prawn-biriani was delicious The samosas were crispy and fresh! Recently,...I went alone, and tried their lamb-curry and I was not 100%-happy. I found the lamb to be too-rich. I opted to think that this is actually a good-sign, as there is nothing worse, than being served meat that is tasteless. The next time I, or We, return, I will be ordering the Tandoori-chicken, and the tikka-masala. It seems their chicken-dishes are simply too good to miss. In terms of the ALL male-dominated customer-service, I felt that it was fast, friendly and attentive. The shy-waiters are all in good-shape, and handsome. But I particularly like the slightly older-man, a bit plumper, with a moustache, who is always behind the main reception. He, unlike the stiff-waiters, makes a lot of eye-contact; and his warm, outward-personally is pleasant to see. The slightly robotic male waiters, perhaps should be a bit more like the Receptionist / Manager :-) Be warm! Be open! Show that you Love People and the job you are doing! :-) PS: High-five to the incredible Chefs! and Kitchen-Staff! Bravo!! xxMore

After eight months, it was good to get back to London and head to the Punjab Restaurant. Restaurants have had an awful time of it this year, so it was nice to see the Punjab was open. We enjoyed the customary friendly welcome from the...staff, who are just such lovely people, who all provide outstanding service and serve up gorgeous food. I can't resist the Lamb Biryani with Vegetable Curry and my wife loved the Chicken Korma. I have read criticism of the decor but we like it, for a lot of reasons. Whether or not you approve of the decor, the food marks it down as a place worth a visit. We'll be there again, next time we visit London.More

Walking inside transports you to a typical 1980's Indian restaurant in the UK. The decor is almost comical and lacks upkeep. The menus must have been 20+ years themselves having worn through the plastic coating many years ago. Not a good start for a restaurant...which such history. The next thing you notice is that for such a small place, there is a lot of waiters. I struggled to understand what they all did. They certainly were not very hospitable, or helpful when we had queries. We were hoping for a radical surprise with the food, but sadly not. Saag paneer was particularly disappointing, poor flavour and spice. It wasn't fresh and I'm guessing reheated when we ordered as we had to ask for it to be taken back as it was cold! None of the dishes we received were worthy of the home made title unfortunately. Overall its not a place I'd recommend or visit again. Very disappointing given its location and history. This could have been a Punjabi restaurant to bookmark, which it apparently once was with the original owner. Shame!More
