I visited this restaurant last evening with my husband for his birthday and we had a lovely evening. Both the food and service were excellent and certainly worth the Michelin Star rating. We particularly liked the fact the menu was not extensive and albeit the choices limited, we chose different dishes to try as many as we could all of... More

Very well executed food and great dining experience in this Michelin star restaurant; Service is superb with really high standards and no hiccups during the busy rush hour. 10 course tasting menu showcase chef innovative capabilities of working with the fine and unique ingredients, and all the dishes are presented wonderfully and cooked perfectly with amazing flavours and textures. I recently stayed overnight in London on a mid-week business trip. I was lucky enough to get a booking for dinner with a colleague at fairly short notice (possibly a cancellation). I have walked past the restaurant many times and have admired the menu to the extent of not really requiring it when I eventually sat down to enjoy this... More

We have eaten at Pied a Terre many times but returned for a summer treat. We had the tasting menu with the Decouverte wine flight. As ever, the ambience is wonderful, a quiet hum of pleasure and the food was imaginative and perfectly cooked and presented. Standards are really high. Although we flunked "guess the wines" with increasingly wild abandon,... More

Both of us had the tasting menu. Both of us are gluten free and it's not often you get the full menu offered. Fantastic. Lovely food. Lovely wine. And helpful staff. Worth a visit for sure, especially if you are gluten free.

The reviews on trip advisor are correct the service is top class and the food is extremely well executed A tip don't sit in the front room as it is very noisy as we were sat there but shifted to the mIn dinning room without a problem Emanuel was fantastic as well as the rest of the staff The pork... Opted for the fixed business lunch option; 3 courses with a half bottle of wine. In fact it was more like 7 courses with the inclusion of an amuse bouche, pre-desert & petit-fours compliments of the kitchen. The food was all very delicious, presented exquisitely and the service outstanding. It's certainly up there with the best I've lunch I've ever... More

I have been to several Michelin starred restaurants across UK and Europe and this was without doubt the best service I have ever experienced. Such attentive staff, not at all overbearing or stuffy in the slightest. We felt so well looked after the whole time, and the sommeliers were just amazing. Not only knowledgeable but so kind, friendly and chatty.... More

A lovely review - many thanks. I will definitely pass your comments and thanks on to the team. Most of the team have worked together for many years so know their stuff and seemingly love what they do - which I think makes the difference. I'm glad you noticed! We hope to see you again sooner rather than later. David More

Taken here recently by banker friend (you need that kind of income to enjoy the place). The degustation menu was delicious - seemingly endless, very innovative and tasty, but not too much. The wines (more or less a new one with every course) were superb and interesting (Iḿ no wine buff but like a good quality wine) and the staff... More

Great service, hospitality taken to a higher level. The two sommeliers absolutely love their job with a passion that is reflected in the excellent choice of wines. The food lacked a bit of creativity, more like switching to automatic pilot. It's like the highlight of the evening never made it to the table, though the quality remained outstanding. Definitely recommended... More

Located in Fitzrovia, the heart of the West End, Pied a Terre is one of the capital's select Michelin-starred restaurants. Although established in 1991, it has been under the guidance of David Moore since 1998 and has gone on to gain some of the highest gastronomic awards and accolades possible. Beautifully appointed and radiating modest quality, the restaurant is charmingly intimate. As you expect, the service is professional yet discreet in order to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. For larger parties, the second floor private dining room seats up to 13 guests and features your own dedicated service and of course, privacy. Diners can also enjoy the exclusive bar on the first floor for drinks and canapes or exclusive wine tasting events. The cuisine is both simple and inventive, with care and attention to detail as the focus. Combine this dining experience with the outstanding selection of wines, and you have a match made in heaven.
