We chose this restaurant simply because it was close to our hotel and I had seen it on Tripadvisor. However I knew it was a good choice as soon as we walked in the door and was greeted by the owner Eva. Since it was our first experience of Polish food she was more than prepared to advise us on... The restaurant itself was quiet charming but unfortunately the food was mediocre to say the least. I love Polish food but this one did'nt meet my expectations. More alarmingly they had overcharged us on several items on the bill and due to the amount, it's my opinion this was deliberate. I cross referenced the prices on their menu on the... More

Eating here made me feel I was having dinner in my grandmother's house. The food is so homely made and the owner and waitress were really friendly, explaining every single dish we did not know what was.

It's been a long time, but quality is worth the wait! We had the 3 course set menu at 17.50 which was a steal for the quantity and quality. Bigos, bliny, potato pancakes, golabki, veal and noodles, pierogi and the puddings.... old school is always best.

Took a group of 28 teenage girls here for dinner while on an overseas school trip. We organised the menu choices the day before to make it easier on the restaurant.

We brought a school group to Patio and it was an excellent experience - peaceful atmosphere, good food, prompt meals (we had booked our meals in advance), friendly service. The piroggi were really good!

Is this the most beautifully unbranded eaterie left in London? A family run Polish restaurant that seems to survive on very few lunch time customers. Why?! Possibly because quick snacks for local office workers is the go to choice. The lunch menu is a three course job with a fixed price. Treat yourself to a Patio lunch. The Gotobka was... More

We come here regularly. Really wanted to have lunch here and they were closed. Because they had a party downstairs, Ewa let us in and they cooked us a fantastic 3 course meal! The White Borsteh and Golabki are stunning. Check this place out. Fab food, lovely atmosphere, great service.

So very flexible. My partner and I were in London for the weekend to celebrate her 30th Birthday, and with her being Polish I chose a Polish restaurant and it happened to be the Patio. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!. Firstly they were so very accommodating to us. We unfortunately were running late and they were happy to change our booking time... More

We popped in for dinner and it did not disappoint - simply delicious with utterly first class service. The food was reasonably priced, quick, and tasty. The staff were just so friendly. All in all a perfect treat for a otherwise cold & dull Thursday in February.

Patio Restaurant was opened in June 1986. Presently, it is one of the most successful Polish restaurants in London, receiving rapturous reviews from well known food critics of The Independent, The Guardian, Telegraph and Evening Standard. The Patio Restaurant, run by Kazimierz and Ewa, has been serving home-made Polish food for more than 22 years. During that period, this family business has developed true excellency in preparing the most distinctive and traditional dishes of Polish cuisine. Patio received numerous reviews from various critics representing some of the biggest advisory newspapers in the UK. All of them agreed that this unpretentious place, stylised like a retro middle-class drawing room, is a must for any Eastern European food amateur. Apart from impressive meals and superb vodka selection, Patio will offer you calm and friendly service as well as live piano perfomances on occasions. Thanks to it's great location in Shepperd's Bush, this Polish restaurant is often visited by Westfield Shopping Centre customers. Patio is situated nearby famous London venues, such as Lyric Theatre or Shepperd's Bush Empire which makes it a perfect place to dine before or after different cultural events. If you are lucky, you may even meet celebrities and performers who often choose to visit Patio. What better recommendation can you get? Our function room is available for free of charge. This lively place has two dining rooms offering seats for about 100 people in total. The function room, located at the lower ground, is often booked for birthdays, weddings and other family gatherings free of charge which makes it really attractive.
