Just as stunning as it's always been, class without pretentiousness. I'm always made so welcome and I do believe the food gets better every time. It's a long established venue that deserves to thrive. Simply the best.

Quite expensive but excellent value. First class attentive service in stylish surroundings. A wide ranging menu and there was not one thing on it that my wife and i would not have chosen. Wine by the carafe is also a very good alternative at lunch time. Quiet - unlike many West End restaurants

Had the great honour of being invited to Buckingham Palace for a reception with the Queen and wanted to meet a colleague somewhere before hand where we could have a nice pre-lunch without being too packed. Le Caprice is a short walk across Green park and offers high quality cuisine at fairly high prices but fair. The food was good... More

We popped in without a reservation early on a sunny Weds evening...got a table outside and then enjoyed a fantastic meal. We haven't eaten here for quite a while but the standard hasn't changed - fantastic as ever.

Le Caprice never lets me down. an excellent lunch today, served with perfect courtesy and good humour that was never intrusive or inappropriate. It's not cheap - but I would be very suspicious if it were. Luncheon in London does not get better.

Our first visit and hopefully not our last. We ate here prior to a theatre booking and even at 1730 it was busy. The reason we gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is that when we were given the menu we were only given the a la carte. We asked for the set menu (3 choices per course -... More

Thank you so very much to Jesus and his wonderful team for having us for drinks on Saturday night! We always love coming back to Le Caprice and seeing you all! The chocolates for Kate's birthday were such a special treat. See you all again soon!

This is a classic London restaurant with top class service. Ok , the menu could be more adventurous but what they offer us excellently delivered. Appeals to a wide range of ages but grey hair is to the fore.Expect to pay £60 plus a head for 2/3 courses with wine.

My favourite restaurant in town and I have been going for years. Lately however I have noticed the food has gone down. A week or so ago we had a, not very good, meal for 4 of us and the other day my guest asked for medium cooked and received well done and my fish was burnt on the outside.... More

I was here with my daughter and her God father, he took us for a nice lunch as a treat because my daughter just graduated from university and result is pretty darn good! Anyway I love everything about this place from the welcoming of the staff towards us, food is absolutely delicious! I certainly would love to come back again!

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
