Shared three appetizers and all had great presentation and very tasty. Two of us offered salad main course - we should have shared because proportions huge. Friend had fish for second time and ate every bite. Shared crumble for dessert - very fresh.

We visited this place with a couple of friends and if I'm honest, it's more a romantic place than somewhere you'd want to visit with friends, not that it's no good for that. The food is absolutely sensational and the venue is gorgeous. Oh and a good wine list too. If I had to criticise, my only issue was that... More

had a great evening at the laughing gravy with husband, son and daughter in law to be. Food was lovely - quirky place with lots of atmosphere - a bit pricey though. Service good -

I have mixed feelings, we booked on line only 15 minutes before arrival so we're not unhappy or surprised that our table was not ready. However we were then kept waiting a long time while other walk in groups were seated and an obvious table of two that was perfect for us was left empty. After prompting we were immediately... More

Went for pre-theatre dinner. Atmosphere is nice and modern. I had veal chops and a side salad which together came out to 28£ - it was well presented and tasty but it was really small so I remained hungry :( - glass of red wine was 8£. my friends fish cake was 12£ + fruit juice of 3.5£ - he... What a lovely place! Nicely presented inside and out. Table prebooked and we were seated on time. Pre dinner cocktails were spot on. Decent choice of mains, all served in a good time and were all well presented and hot. Desserts are fab. White choc ice cream with a small jug of black coffee and brandy! What a taste! I... More

I first went to Laughing Gravy about 14 or so years ago as I worked nearby... They have brightened up the decor and made the menu inventive, beautifully presented with amazing tastes and flavours. It is still in an anonymous part of South London, but only 5 minutes from Southwark tube and close to the Tate Modern, the Old Vic... More

My husband and I had a lovely lunch. The pub we had intended to go to was shut for a refurb so a quick look at Trip sent us here. It was a real treat. An interesting menu and beautifully cooked food. A good wine list and very efficient and friendly service. Well worth a visit

10 minute walk from Waterloo, menu a bit limited and expensive. £9 for a dessert. Macaroni cheese would have been great but lots of onion not mentioned on menu, salad was very nice but needed a bit more goats cheese. Didn't splash out on dessert. Lamb was £22 and a small portion so not good value.

Dined here on a Friday night. Although busy, we asked for and got a corner table. Food was simply amazing, and really beautifully presented. Seemed expensive until the amount of work and processes involved is taken into consideration. Really couldn't fault a single element of the evening. Will definitely return next time we're staying nearby.
