Food was excellent and it was a great find on trip advisor. Ambiance I particularly enjoyed, very relaxed lighting. Local beer available. The Camden beer was very nice. I reccomend the pheasant.

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday night during our recent trip to London after finding it on TripAdvisor. I booked a table through open table and the process was quick and easy. On arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome and were so impressed with the restaurant, it's quite small but beautiful in a really cool... More

This is a must visit restaurant in London. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and the staff were very welcoming. The Sunday menu is varied and provides a range of starters and mains and of course the gorgeous Sunday roast. The food is delicious and is very good value. I would recommend a booking as they turned a number of... More

I remember visiting Laughing Gravy with my family on a special occasion about 2 years ago and still, with no doubt I would call it the best restaurant in London. Simply because of their great staff, cozy atmosphere and the food... which is exceptional! We had a 3-course meal, which included a dessert each and it was all very delightful,... More

What a lovely restaurant! Nice decor, good atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and an extensive wine list. My only criticism is the courgette salad starter - it looked very pretty but was very small and I felt I wasn't getting much for the price (£8.50). Some of our party had burgers and they were apparently really good!

Third time at this lovely small restaurant, fabulous food and wine especially the venison wellington. The service is also excellent, the tables are a little close together and it can get noisy, although the food is worth it.

I've been lucky enough to eat in some great places in many countries and The Laughing Gravy is one of the best. The restaurant is small and buzzy, and from the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionallly well right up to the moment we left. The menu covers all tastes, I don't eat meat but was still spoilt for... More

Accommodated us at short notice for a Friday night table. Knew that we'd dined here before (nice touch). Fabulous starters of garlic artichoke and smoked fish. Steak and salted deer stuffed venison Wellington as mains which were amazing. Truffle fries were superb. Cheese plates to finish with great, powerful cheeses, good biscuits and minimal fuss. A great red to accompany... More

This place is only 5 min from where we live and we only found it last week. But wow - we need not go any further. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Perfect for dinner date, special occasion or a nice place to bring work colleagues. Its also very close to the Young Vic theatre. Really pleasant, lively atmosphere and... More

Great restaurant with lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our sunday roast was delicious but there was too much meat and very tiny amounts of vegetable which left the plate looking colourless and unhealthy.
