When shown to the table was not set properly missing some cutlery and one one bread plate again no big deal. We ordered starters both good but not great. Then ordered dover sole... More

We ate pre theater and just loved it. A classic wood panelled restaurant with loads of atmosphere, fish as fresh as you'd get at a fishing port and an attentive, friendly and efficient team. You don't feel rushed but somehow there's plenty of time for everything the perfect restaurant experience.

My husband and I are seafood lovers. We read positive reviews about the place. So we went mainly to try the seafood platter. The seafood was fresh. The size was good and filling. Service was the best. Location is great, being so close to Leicester Square. But the prices are quite high, even for regular dishes like the traditional fish... More

I have been a regular at J Sheekey for many years. The food is always excellent- the fish pie and lobster thermidor are always a wonderful experience and you must try the crab bisque. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. The staff make it a pleasure to eat at the restaurant.

Been before and treating a friend; had built the restaurant up and did not disappoint despite a mix up with booking which they cheerfully accommodated. Oyster and crab to start were divine, Dover sole exquisite and my partners fish pie was 'best ever tasted'. Only gripe would be cheeseboard but mea culpa for not asking varieties on offer. All served... More

If you have never been make sure you just pop by for their famous Fish Pie. They now have a long terrace outside which is a lovely place to sit in a summer evening in the West End in this traffic free passage. Lovely staff and not too expensive for this class of restaurant

Went for a very long, leisurely lunch. We sat out on the terrace as such a beautiful day. Atmosphere was very relaxed and chilled. The menu left you spoilt for choice as all sounded so wonderful. We opted for the fresh tuna, grilled octopus and the crab to start. Followed by the clams, fish goujons and lobster salad. Every dish... More
