We visited Restaurant Gordon Ramsay on 27th July to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. We are foodies and have prevously been to two other restaurants with three Michelin stars. We chose the Al la carte menu at a cost of £110.00. each. The food was very good and the deserts /petit fours exceptional. There were so many waiters - the... More

My dad and I were extremely disappointed with our lunch earlier this week. The worst thing that happened was that we were in our second course (tasting menu) and we heard a big argument coming from the kitchen - from where I was sitting I could see the kitchen if the door swung open. The chef (not Gordon) was shouting... More

From the moment you get to this restaurant you know you are in for a special evening. The attention to detail and the service are impeccable! We enjoyed the 2 tasting menus between the 5 of us and had an amazing experience. Highlights of the meal were the lobster ravioli and the lamb. Very cool basil citrus sorbet. The wine... More

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the food was the nicest food i have ever eaten. The service is fantastic and the waiters and waitresses couldnt do enough for us. The only criticism was that someone in the kitchen was really shouting at staff and this went on for a while. Firstly this made us feel very uncomfortable and secondly... More

Visited with partner and had the prestige menu. Truly wonderful experience, a cut above many of the other places we've visited in London, even those that have a star or two. Ramsay's signature ravioli dish is up there among the most memorable I've ever had the pleasure to taste. Wonderfully attentive staff, believe the hype - HOWEVER I would add... More

This has to be one of the world's most famous restaurants and one I've personally wanted to try out for some time, so, 1st Anniversary looming, I booked it for lunch. The experience is hushed luxury from the moment you arrive outside of the discete front door, enter into a luxurious reception and are shown to the table by an... More

Went in for the last sitting at 10.15pm (they have sittings each evening) as that was the only slot available though we booked a month ahead! Even after the three sittings the staff were very attentive and informative .. We had the tasting menu which was beautifully presented, timed and the the taste of the meal 'exquisite'!!! Hope to return... More

They deserve the three stars!! First the service headed by the famous Jean Claude the team were incredible there the moment you needed them and absent when you don't! Exceptionally skilled and knowledgable flawless in every way. (JC gave us a tour of the kitchen which was a nice touch) The food as you may expect from Ramsey's 3 star... More

This is one of only three, 3 star Michelin restaurants in the UK and after visiting for lunch I now understand why, for without doubt the whole experience was a total joy to behold. What was also blindingly obvious to me for the first time, after visiting many top level restaurants for countless years, was why this restaurant was able... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
