London is very much about new restaurants and the 'latest thing', but Gordon Ramsay Royal Hospital Road continues to be reliably faultless. We have never not had an exceptional meal here. The room is on the small side, but perfect in terms of atmosphere and the service is immaculate. The presentation of the food is only just short of art,... More

We made an exception to this rule because it was our 10th wedding and this restaurant was where we had one of our first dates twelve years ago. And I am glad to say that our great memories were not spoilt as it was almost as good as the first time. The food was outstanding, service impeccable and ambience was... More

We booked this restaurant our last night in London as we had wanted to end our trip on a high note but we were disappointed with the dining experience as we had expected more from this 3 Michelin stars restaurant. Food was nothing to wow about. The ambience was like in a casual food joint, cramp and noisy. We were... More

It is great. Second visit here. They are good at what they do. Just no surprises. Second visit almost the same as first visit.

Had dinner with a friend. Food was absolutely great quality with beautiful wine pairings recommended by the sommelier. Foie gras terrine and roast grouse were highlights, as we're the various canapés and petition fours that were a surprise before and after our meals. What we truly truly exceptional was the service and absolute flexibility of the restaurant, offering options for... More

We were given Gordon Ramsay gift vouchers and managed to secure a booking at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. There is a strict dress code and punctuality is paramount. We arrived on time and were introduced to all staff who would be on hand during service. The restaurant was modern and understated and certainly very unassuming from the pavement. Once we were... Very nice restaurant. Small calm and classy. High quality food and service. Good wine list. Pricey but worth it.

I've dined at little hidden gems and top rated celebrity restaurants and this has been my favourite since I went there on my honeymoon. The staff are attentive and professional. Food presentation perfection and just a fantastic experience for lunch. I will return to this restaurant again when I visit - just how fine dining should be.

The food, the service.... Everything was amazing. The staff was very inviting, especially the sommelier. He recommended an amazing bottle in our budget and we could not have been more happy! The glassware was the nicest I've ever seen in my life, from the thinnest delicate wine glass, to the glass stirrer for our cocktails. Top 3 restaurant experiences of... More

Perfection. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we had to depart, we were made to feel like old friends returning for a long awaited reunion. The dining room is small but well laid out. We didn't feel like we were sat on top of anyone else, and the evening lighting made the feel warm and relaxed. The... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
