It is genuinely one of the best restaurants I have ever been. We came with high expectations, not just because it is the 'home' of the famed TV chef Gordon Ramsay, but also for the Michelin 3 star it has held for many years. Truly, it does not disappoint. Every dish was stunning without being overtly showman-like. To come up... More

The moment we walked in i new it was going to be amazing and it was. Really good service coming with very kind words and there was brilliant food. There was duck, crab and little tasters in between each meal.I recommend coming early for lunch as it gets busier through the afternoon. They had a drinks bar, where we ordered our drinks... More

Booked this restaurant for our anniversary. It was an amazing experience. The dining room is cosy and and the tables are nicely spaced out for you to enjoy an intimate dinner. The service was faultless and the food well it was fantastic classic French dishes with subtle twists.

We loved every dishes presented to us. It was filled with flavour and very delicious. However, we were not sure about the service. There were too many people who served us and we could not 'connect' nor remember them. Therefore, we felt it was not personable. Napkins were not placed on our laps too. We waited for the waiters to... More

The food was exceptional, particularly the lobster ravioli starter (the recipe for which we plagiarised for our wedding breakfast menu!). The service was equally notable and we especially appreciated the flexibility on the tasting menu (Mrs is a carnivore with a conscience, so likes to forego fois gras etc.). On a par with Ducasse at The Dorchester, otherwise peerless. Look... More

It was my husbands 50th birthday so I decided to treat him and our children. I reserved the Inspiration Table, as it was a special occasion. We arrived just after 8pm to enjoy an aperitif. The table is situated away from the main dining area, however not far away so you still feel part of the restaurant but have he... More

We went to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for lunch with some friends and we were lucky to get a table as it was a really last minute booking. The restaurant is quite small but it feels airy and the decoration is simple and elegant. The staff extremely friendly and helpful from the moment you step in the place until you leave... More

The service is slick, with a friendly manner that avoids any pretentiousness. The food is not over fussy, just very good quality cooked very well and presented beautifully. We had the tasting menu, and used the sommeliers recommendations for wine - it married together very well. It is not the most showy food I have ever eaten, but it doesn't... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
