We desperately needed something to eat before a show so wandered around and came upon this independent deli which definitely fitted the bill. Service was friendly, incredibly quick and food tasty and hot. We chose the special (£8.90 for two courses - of lentil soup followed by chicken and spinach curry) for speed and weren't disappointed. Great for a quick... More

I've been coming here since 1974, and it really doesn't change very much which is great - thank goodness they beat off the developers a few years back. Had my usual mixed deli plate, my companions had goulash and mixed grill - all of us were very satisfied

I took my girlfriend here as I have fond memories of Gabi's. However while my salt beef sandwich was nice the bread was too thin to hold the meat. Cold mashed potato is not a salad, the falafels were quite dry and the hummous had no lemon juice or garlic in it and was quite plain. My girlfriends spinach and... More

Tried their falafel wrap today. It isnt the best i have had but it is pretty good especially if you are looking for a quick bite. Their falafels are strange yet tasty as falafels arent supposed to be crunchy.

A lovely place to have lunch. It has a wonderful deli menu with quick service. Although not plush it is full of character and clearly popular with people. It is obvious that people return again and again.

Tucked away in the heart of central London, Gaby's food is fresh, spicy, aromatic, and amazing. There is nothing that comes close to the deliciousness of their hummus in London - and probably in all of England.

Gaby's has an exotic selection of fresh and wonderful Eastern type food. It is staggeringly cheap and totally tasty. Can go there any time for any kind of food and feel welcomed.

Back to the 60's and a trip to the Middle East at the same time. Even the staff and the prices do not reflect the age we are living in. I speak for the falafels but they don't need any advocacy. They have got it from stars and celebs. It's like arriving to a different universe when stepping out to... More

Within easy reach of Whitehall and the West End, Gaby's is still the place for me when I want falafel. A box of 2 falafel on homemade humus with 3 salad choices is all you need to set you up for the day. And if not, there is a;ways a massive piece of baklava with your name on it! The... More

We used to come here years ago when in London and thought it had gone, so we were delighted to find it's still here, but less delighted with the food. It's a characterful little place, and the range of salads on display looks good. We each had a £10 plate of 7 salads. The portions are generous but everything tasted... More
