Made sure while I was in London to find this place based on various reviews. Busy, small and atmospheric as suggested. Tried the Theakstons bitter - bit warm for my liking.

The French house is an interesting Galic pub specialising in French drinks. Pub is very small so getting a seat can be difficult. Be aware that they only sell halves. Nice atmosphere. Worth popping in.
