We had the tasting menu with matching wines. Lovely evening and great staff who were really knowledgeable. Everything was very unique and a really nice experience. Its expensive but you do feel like your in Downton abbey. Very good for a special occasion.

One of the best Indian restaurants. They call it Modern Indian. So there is a twist in everything they serve though it still retains its authenticity. Good variety - even for vegetarians Lovely taste and aroma. And the settings are just awesome. Its an original 1836 built Westminster Public Library - not moved elsewhere . They have even retained many... More

I've been wanting to eat here for so many years and thanks to a promotion I managed to. It would be worth a visit just for the ambiance and the atmosphere. Dining in an old Victorian library is just a lovely experience in itself but the food was excellent too of course. Excellent service.

This is the most difficult review I've ever written, because it's going to be a bit personal but I hope it reaches the right eyes to rectify the problem..... We had lunch here on a pretty scorching day and were delighted to find it quiet and cool inside, very civilised atmosphere. Unfortunately the tables for two around the edge of... More

A great place for a working breakfast. Interesting cuisine, attentive service and pleasant surroundings (it is in a listed building, formally a public library). The only fault I would advance is the tendency to under supply coffee.

We had a throughly enjoyable lunchtime its to The Cinnamon Club. The restaurant was quiet and the service first class. Food portions were generous and well presented. Our waitress, Anna gave excellent recommendations and was very knowledgeable about each dish, helping us make some delicious choices. We can recommend the signature Cinnamon Champagne, King Prawns and Butter Chicken. If you... More

Had my 60th birthday here with a dozen friends. Sublime food and the most brilliant service. We were perfectly advised by the wonderful Francis who took all the strain out of decision making and was magnificently attentive without being intrusive. Can't wait to go again.

Amazing food, too congested and tight for space. Also makes it too noisy. Great service, finger licking good food but few veggie options.

We visited Cinnamon Club on a Bookatable deal set menu. The food and service was excelelnt, really tasty. The restaurant is in an old library with books around the walls. The service is good but not too over the top, you felt welcomed and comfortable. Loved the food. Good for a special occasion or treat. Will come back again in... More

Large and interesting menu but the food itself and the arrangement was bland and uninspiring. I thought the food was tired and felt like the chef's imagination had run out of steam. Having said that the service was excellent, so was the venue, atmosphere and location.

Challenging the notion that Indian cuisine can only be created using age-old recipes and ideas, The Cinnamon Club demonstrates how evolution and adaptation can create a new chapter in gourmet excellence. Housed in the Grade II listed former Westminster Library, a stone’s throw from London’s Westminster Abbey, The Cinnamon Club’s neo-colonial feel fits perfectly with its distinctive style of Indian haute cuisine.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
