We visited Cinnamon Club on a Bookatable deal set menu. The food and service was excelelnt, really tasty. The restaurant is in an old library with books around the walls. The service is good but not too over the top, you felt welcomed and comfortable. Loved the food. Good for a special occasion or treat. Will come back again in... More

Large and interesting menu but the food itself and the arrangement was bland and uninspiring. I thought the food was tired and felt like the chef's imagination had run out of steam. Having said that the service was excellent, so was the venue, atmosphere and location.

The Cinnamon Club came recommended to us by a colleague who had attended LSE and was a native of India. The food and atmosphere did not disappoint! The setting in an old library with books still on the shelves was elegant and eclectic. While tables were close together and the restaurant was full before we left, we felt that conversation... A slightly arrogant air hits you as you walk in. Name? ..no warm welcome No niceties at all, and very poor diction by all the staff. You simply couldn't understand them , particularly when they brought and introduced the food Drinks in the library are very nice but at £7 for an Indian pale ale and £14 for a tanquary... More

We had a set menu. The cocktail was absolutely awful. However the one ordered off menu was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals, although some more than others. The setting is completely lovely. We found the service to be aloof and unfortunately bordering on unfriendly. Overall an expensive evening that wasn't as special as we had hoped.

I came here with a large group for lunch and we were looked after very well. The food had so much flavour and spice it was amazing but I must say the mango foam on the dessert was my favourite. Will definitely be returning again. Thanks a bunch

We went for dinner and both had the set menu. The food was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. They have loads of flavour combinations that is a taste sensation in your mouth. The prosecco based cocktail we had to start was seriously tasty. The restaurant itself is set in the Old Westminster Library, which is quite special and... More

We had booked for the £35 pp set menu (available some days of the week and at certain times) which included 3 courses and pre-starter and a cocktail. Good value! Much as we would have chosen frankly off the full menu. Service was good. The food was excellent. The refurbishment done earlier this year of the old 'library' has been... More

Amazing food- Modern interpretation of Indian. Refreshing change from pub food. So glad we tried it on the recommendation of a friend. Food has a hint of spice but delicious for most palates. Try the gin- excellent selection. Not a good place for children. Only downside- don't walk down any less populated streets. Almost robbed on our way back to... More

Description
Challenging the notion that Indian cuisine can only be created using age-old recipes and ideas, The Cinnamon Club demonstrates how evolution and adaptation can create a new chapter in gourmet excellence. Housed in the Grade II listed former Westminster Library, a stone’s throw from London’s Westminster Abbey, The Cinnamon Club’s neo-colonial feel fits perfectly with its distinctive style of Indian haute cuisine.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
