A local landmark on The Boulevard, the Blue Elephant Thai restaurant brings an authentic Royal Thai dining experience to bustling West London. Considered one of the finest Thai restaurants in London, the Blue Elephant serves delicious traditional dishes prepared with ingredients flown in from Thailand on a weekly basis, served up amidst tropical foliage and lush water gardens. Your meal will be presented to you by the friendly, attentive staff in national Thai costume, who will also occasionally entertain diners with traditional Thai dancing displays. A popular spot for couples, who cosy up under the thatched pergolas, the Blue Elephant is renowned for its refined cuisine, which also includes a wide range of vegetarian dishes, an extensive wine list and a Sunday brunch with children's entertainment. Ideal for relaxing with a classic cocktail, the opulent Blue Bar is highlighted by a replica of the Suphannahong - the Royal Barge of Thailand.

Great location, great food but way too expensive

I ordered the pad thai (which came in an edible basket - nice touch) and drunken beef which both tasted great but definitely not good value for money. For the price I would expect something more spectacular. The previous venue's decor was also a lot nicer but the new location is great and overlooks... read more

I visited this restaurant in October with my family - I really love Thai food so I always try to visit a Thai restaurant if I go to a new place! the food was really delicious here ( we ordered lamb Massaman and green chicken curry which were especially good) . The service was quick and the staff were really... More

My wife booed this restaurant recently originally for 2 persons at 8pm. Subsequently 3 other people joined the booking, we called the restaurant and revised booking was confirmed. We had to drive from Reading to London and got delayed - we called the restaurant like good citizens requesting a change of time for 8 pm to 9pm - revised booking... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant very recently in order to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. On a previous visit at their old location on Fulham High Street we were very impressed with the quality of the food, the service and the general ambiance, leaving a pleasant memory. So no reservations about making a booking at their new home in... More

Nice location.... After that everything Its terrible!! I went for a sunday buffet with some friends, the food is really awful, the quality of the food is ridiculously disgusting, the starters were cheap/cold/without taste, and the rest of the food not even worthy to try! The funny thing is that for all this disgusting food you have to pay 30£,... More

This restaurant has awful service, the food is average but priced at the high end. A Thai green curry cost £18 and doesn't even come with rice. In fact the one in my local thai restaurant sells a green curry for £7 and taste much better. Ordering drinks ended up being long, with waiters missing the order and taking over... More

My wife and I really enjoyed the Thai tasting menu this evening. Food was delicious and service was excellent with a fantastic range of flavours. I would highly recommend a visit - other tasting menus are available as well as an excellent a la carte choice.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a meal at this restaurant for my birthday. As my birthday falls on NYE finding a nice place always proves difficult. However my girlfriend managed to locate this gem! Due to it being NYE they had created a set menu, almost like a taster menu. The food was outrageously good with a... More

We recently had a family Sunday brunch at The Blue Elephant, and I would rate the overall experience as average, and hyped. Food options weren't great, tasted OK. The location is good, and the ambience is warm, but having cold spring rolls and cold dimsums on a cold and rainy Sunday is not what we expected. Not sure about their... More
