Seldom can you find a restaurant where every item on the menu is in a word...perfect. The flavours were in perfect balance, the ambiance, service were all exceptional. There wasn't a single item on the tasting menu that stood out, because everything was perfect. You cannot find better Chinese anywhere. Not always authentic Chinese, but forgivable considering the how good... More

The venue if stunning and the service os great. Food is good but for what you spend you probably could expect something better. Highlights were the dim sum selection and the lobster which comes with noodles.

I have been eating at Hakkasan since it opened in 2001, and it has been one of my favourites ever since. Yes, the service can be rude, yes, the food is expensive and you can be rushed - but there is something about the energy of the place that makes you want to come back time and time again.

Absolutely amazing. Go hungry as the food just kept coming. Would recommend a signature menu as the plates keep coming and gives you a variety. The wine was reasonably priced and again excellent. Cocktails also worth trying. Dishes worth a try dim sum supreme, chicken satay, beef in merlot and the pork although every dish was faultless. I recommend this... More

Special set menu deal. Incredibly small portions, we weren’t expecting vast amounts as part of the deal. Staff not the most helpful. Presentation – wasn’t the best. Very dark dining room.

After hearing good reviews from friends about Hakkasan, I was looking forward to celebrating a friends birthday there. The door staff were very friendly and professional but went downhill from there. The table was booked for a certain time but we had to wait for it for over half and hour, having to spend time at the bar which was... More

My husband and I thought we were going to a restaurant for a nice chinese meal. We had heart that Hakkasan had good food but didn't know what to expect. We were totally blown away. The atmosphere of the place is like nothing we have experienced before. Dark, pulsating music, fantastic waiters, good food of course! It can be a... More

A belated birthday treat, cocktails, exquisite courses of dim sum ,Cantonese salads, indulgent puds, complimented by champagne and accompanying pudding cocktails. A real treat. Despite its very dark stairs and interior which made it more like an evening venue it was busy with many birthday cakes being lit and presented to happy young families. Hope I can return..

When my friend suggested dim sum at Hakkasan, I thought it was something that you would find in Chinatown. But this restaurant impressed me - great food, great service and great staff!

Hakkasan Hanway Place is the original Hakkasan restaurant. This Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant designed by Christian Liaigre has recreated the luxurious glamour of the past by combining Chinese history, tradition and architecture. Wooden lattice screens carved out of dark English oak invite discerning guests for a unique dining experience with contemporary cuisine from Chef Tong Chee Hwee. The menu has a strong Chinese ethnic identity with an ethos of Cantonese cooking that will be informed by a progressive approach, underpinned by authenticity rather than traditionalism. Hakkasan Hanway Place has launched Dim Sum Sundays, a weekly lunch event hosted by resident lounge DJs, available every Sunday from 12:00 until 17:45.
