The venue was stunning, very quirky and really beautiful. We ordered cocktails (which were lovely) and wine. For starters, we ordered a few of the antipasti boards to share. The meats, breads, cheeses and olives were delicious. We had high hopes for the main courses. Unfortunately, not good for some of us. Two people ordered the chateaubriand to be cooked... More

Went for an anniversary meal mid week. I requested a quiet / romantic table on booking so we can be tucked out of the main area. The staff duly provided one tucked in the corner of the cave part. They even said happy anniversary bringing out the deserts! Really nice atmosphere, food i thought was good for the price -... More

I went there last night and there was this particular waitress who was exceedingly annoying and snobbish... absolutely plain rude... she was just so pushy with regards to us ordering more drinks I had to tell her with a very stern and direct manner that we we already taken care of by another one of her colleagues, what did she... This is a special place to hang out with style and an opulent decor. It feels intimate and yet not overwhelming. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our party of four were there for a Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday and the table had been set to welcome us. We all enjoyed our food choices. The crab and avocado... More

I booked this restaurant for a gathering. We were a large group however there should have been at least 3 staff taking care of us. My food was amazing. I had the crab and avocado for starters and the crispy duck for main absolutely gorgeous. However, 3 people from our party had their rice undercooked and found a plaster in... More

We visited London and booked this as it seemed like the best place for us to eat. We were terrible disappointed. The building is great, the place does looks fantastic. The food was OK but massively overpriced. I wouldn't have minded but it wasn't even fine dining, the food was nice but nothing special. The service unfortunately was the worst... More

We went to this place for dinner fortnight ago, as we read misleading excellent reviews about the food and and the place in general. 3 course meal for two, with wine can easily set you north of £100; which is not expensive given the area and if the food were to be any good.. we were very disappointed about the... I enjoyed the food here, but it didn't wow me in any way. Very simple but nice. Service was great and the restaurant looks great. Just food is pretty standard at nothing too special. Would return though.

This restaurant is outstanding on many levels. The atmosphere and decor are so unique. When you enter the bar has so much to catch your eye and drinks are unique and delish. As you wind your way down to a table, every level has its on unique charm. Our server, Marjio (spelling?) really made our evening splendid. He was engaging... More

BBB has become a classic restaurant-bar of London. The food quality is good, the people polite and the whole place seems to have come out of a movie set. Have gone here several time since the 90s, and it's always a fun place to be!

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
