I visited Azou on the 30th December with my husband for dinner. Being Moroccan, I know what good Moroccan food should taste like, and have often found that restaurants offering such cuisine have fallen short of my expectations. I booked a table at Azou on a whim, not having had any personal recommendations for it. I'm so pleased I did,... More

A tiny place among a dazzling array of restaurants on the stretch out of Hammersmith, Azou is fairly pricey but serves up some good food. We had Briouat (goats cheese and brie-stuffed pastries) and Chakchouka (warm salad of tomatoes, spicy sausage and other wonders) to start. Both were excellent and flavoursome. We also got some olives, which were an extra... More

Been to Azou several times. Atmosphere is great, staff is friendly and food melts in your mouth... And the price is quite reasonable!! What else can you ask for?? Definitely one of the first places I think about when asked for a recommendation!!

Cozy friendly atmosphere, lovely banter with the owner and food to die for. We went on a spur of the moment thing. I can honestly say that I doubt we could have found anywhere better. We were a bit undecided as to what to eat but after suggestions we ended up with two exceptional tangine's. We had Bourek to start... More

Being on a business trip, i was stuck daily for hours checking reviews in my hotel. I decided to visit this place all of the sudden. I was greeted very well, and since i am me, did not know what to order. I got suggesting from the house specials and for me... it was magical. This dish entered the top... More

Visited Azou for my birthday, and cannot say enough how amazing both the food and service were. Came all the way from Manchester to try this place after seeing it on TV, and it delivered on every aspect. Tagines were divine, as were the desserts. Cannot wait to return!

After I watched the Ramsay TV show, I came down from Manchester to try the food. I've been in North Africa and North African restaurants before and the food is actually one of my favourites. Azou did make a very good impression on the TV show to me and even better when I actually visited it. In first place, the... More

The staff could not have been more friendly. The head waiter saw to everything for us and the food was as good as the service. I was thinking my daughter would like the couscous as one of my reasons for chosing it but actually it was the starters - falafel and hummus that grabbed her attention first. We had a... More

We've been to this place a few times and I reviewed it before here as well. We made a reservation again last night this time specifying in our reservation that we had a toddler with us and needed a high chair. I reserved online and have clear proof of this request. Knowing that this place is rather small I also... More

Description
Azou is one of the most inviting restaurants on Chiswick's King Street. Marking it out most is the high-quality North African food offering fine flavours from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The menu reflects the huge variety of dishes from North Africa - from delicious salads, kemia (mezze) & pastries to couscous and tajines (meat, fish & vegetarian). Choose from classic dishes, or Azou's own, which incorporate traditional and contemporary influences. The focus is on well-sourced and freshly cooked ingredients. Azou has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere decorated with crafts and artefacts from the Maghreb.
