I came back for the second time in about 2 years and decided to leave a review this time. I was happy both times I visited and can recommend this restaurant to any traveller with a bit of time and need for a decent meal while waiting in London Heathrow.
I like the Fish & Chips very much and the price is perfectly alright, especially at an airport. Including something to drink and tip I payed around £22-25. The fish and the chips were freshly prepared, flaky on the inside and crispy on the outside, not too greasy as well.
All in all I would always come back when I’m back in Heathrow.

I’m fully aware about the inflated prices you pay at an airport, but 42 for two burgers and a two beers. Now that’s expense. I’m not sure if you pay VAT at the airport when you buy food at an airport restaurant (it wasn’t mentioned on the bill), but if so. There weren’t any VAT discounts going on here.
Our burgers were okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. Staff was friendly.

Vat is included in all items listed on the menu.
we also have a limited menu at the moment and over the coming weeks we will have some more variety at varied prices giving greater options
with regards to pricing we have a price match with one of our sister pubs in London to ensure we dont overcharge for the produce we sell.

At Heathrow T2 for an early flight we scoped out where to have a hearty breakfast to see us good for our journey... After seeing the Full English All Day Breakfast on the London's Pride menu we got seated and our breakfast was quickly severed. You can change out some of the items (like Black Pudding, who likes that stuff anyway) for an extra egg or toast. The breakfast was generous in size and to a high standard, the sausage was great and the eggs cooked to perfection. The only downside was the cost, at £16.25 for the breakfast and then another £3.20 for a small fruit juice for the two of us we paid £40 I think a price tag of £12 (0r £15 with a coffee or juice included) would have been more appropriate. The ambiance of the pub / restaurant was also very nice.

We were seated promptly and ordered drinks and a meal for two, the drinks arrived in less than 2 mins... Perfect. But no sooner had I put sugar in my coffee and started stirring the meals arrived. I ordered fish and chips, my wife a salmon salad. My food had either been reheated or sat under the heat lamp for far too long. The chips were dry as a bone and the batter on the fish was excessively overpowered by the oil it had been cooked in, there was a skin over the tartar sauce and the peas looked as if they had spent time on the floor. My wife's salmon had obviously come straight out of a tin and the salad element was nothing more than uninteresting. This cost well over £30 and as far as I'm concerned one of the worst meals I have ever had the misfortune of paying for. Don't bother with the place it's just conveyor belt food and second rate at that.

The restaurant was very busy but I was seated quickly and the food was served quickly. I was craving a good Sunday roast. It seemed expensive but when it arrived the portion was huge so I definitely couldn't complain!it was very tasty and the staff were dealing well with the high number of customers in the restaurant. I've eaten and drunk here several times before and it is a good taste of England.

Hands down the best Fish & Chips I’ve ever had while in England! Perfect crunchy batter and the fish was a big portion. Great value for money! I was told that the fish is caught fresh every morning - not ever frozen. I will definitely return when I am next waiting for a flight!

Hi Howlermonkeyyy, thank you for sharing this fantastic review. Fresh fish certainly makes a difference, and whilst we do get our daily fresh deliveries it would be slightly mis-leading to say that it was caught that very morning. However, definitely never frozen which also helps how the batter reacts to the fish - something you have noted here.

Chose Eggs Benedict from the extensive breakfast menu.
Perfectly cooked.
You can get a breakfast elsewhere for a £ or 2 cheaper, but this restaurant wasn't so packed, and had a nice relaxed feel to it.
Glenda our waitress was excellent, and so cheerful so early in the morning

What a nightmare trying to get breakfast! We had to wait ages and then our server was like Manuel from Fawlty Towers.
My father and sister ordered full breakfasts (the menu said it didn’t come with toast but it did), they also specifically asked for chips (which comes with the full breakfasts) so we ordered extra toast. Their breakfast arrived with toast, no chips, full breakfasts only come with chips after 12:00...
I ordered smashed avocado on toast which apparently comes with poached eggs, the waitress said it was a menu “typo”? It comes with egg.
My mother ordered eggs benedict which apparently comes with ham even though the menu didn’t state it, another “typo”?
A typo is perhaps a spelling mistake not ingredients or parts of the meal left off the list.
What if you don’t eat meat? Or have an allergy?

unfortunately were not running a usual menu at the moment as we have only just opened.
we are working extremely close with our suppliers over the coming weeks to extend our range.
with regards to typo? its nothing we can change, as you stated regarding allergens it would conflict with our allergen folder. also a (V) on most menus denotes a vegetarian dish.
i understand that you would like to see all ingredients on the menu and if some wording is not, and your unsure, the team are fully trained to explain exactly what is in each dish. Ie: eggs benedict its an absolute classic, but we wouldn't take that for granted and ensure the team know whats in every dish.
with regards to serving chips in the morning, its just something we dont do. if we find there is demand for such a thing its something we would look in to.

This restaurant could triple its turnover if the staff could be bothered to do their jobs. The restaurant is half empty yet there is a consistently a 20+ person queue waiting to get a table. A single staff member seems more interested in chatting to other servers than seating customers. Bar service is similarly painfully slow with a single barman taking orders despite a team of staff behind the bar. Many customers trying to spend money on the venue - the restaurant staff doing their utmost to prevent it.

an airport pub or restaurant is quite unique and its not like the high-street, we can fill our 240 covers in 10 minutes flat and equally depart passengers in similar times due to flight departures so when you can see plenty of tables available i can assure you we are working at full pace to ensure we are clean and sanitised ready for the next new arrivals through the security gates. we always have a minimum of 3 people on the bar and if that's not the case its down to illness or late arrivals of the team and i can only apologise for the slow experience we work extremely hard to ensure we have the correct staffing levels so you can enjoy a pleasant visit and have the opportunity to have first class service, please do give us another go when passing through T2 I'm confident it was an isolated situation the day you visited us.

When I order a waffle, especially one at this price, I expect an actual waffle to be cooked, rather than some reheated pre cooked sugary stale thing which is what we got here. Very small and horrible.
My daughter’s egg was ok but also a small portion.
I would not eat here again.

We couldn't find seating in the waiting area of Terminal 2 (The Queen's Terminal) during a layover. The only seats we could find were at restaurants. We stopped here, primarily because the line was shorter than those at the other restaurants. We ordered oatmeal and coffee. The server was friendly and attentive. Food arrived fairly quickly and we were pleasantly surprised by the huge portion of very tasty porridge. Coffee was also good.
If you're in The Queen's Terminal (Terminal 2) at Heathrow and want to grab something to eat, this option is a good one.

Visited in my way out to Bahrain. I arrived early in during the pandemic so it was very quiet, which suited me.
Great attention to hygiene, friendly helpful serving staff. The (full English) breakfast was large, well cooked and tasty - set me up for the day. Cost was reasonable. Recommended!

London’s Shame.
This venue is embarrassing. To even name it London’s Pride is shameful. Imagine being a visitor and this is your last meal in the UK? Two fish finger sandwiches £20, that were more like dead man’s fingers, bemused staff and an overworked barman.

£20 for two fish finger sandwiches in London is about right we price match with multiple businesses across London to stay competitive.
we use fresh fish delivered daily from Direct seafood a wonderful supplier of fresh produce.
with regards to service we do use a lot of agency staff so on occasions its there first day in a busy environment something we are working extremely hard on to ensure consistency

Consider this, you are in an airport, near London, so you are going to pay more. The only balancing factor is the service you receive. The service we received was fine and no complaints as to dress code, not really important to me. Now the food and drink. Both ordered meals were OK, all day breakfast for £16.25 and a cheese & pickle sandwich with fries £8.75. Cappuccino at £3.25 and pineapple juice for £3.10 - so you can see the value issue. All in all was an OK experience, but clearly pricey.

A tasty, full English breakfast served by efficient staff. My partner doesn't eat much and requested a child's portion and they were quite happy to oblige. I would be happy to visit again.
