We showed up for a pre-theatre meal having booked a table for three. We were not on the booking list and were not seated because all of the tables were full. We gave up after waiting 15 minutes due to time constraints.

The guys that work here are lovely and go beyond everything to attend to you. The food is really good, pizzas excellent and super well location - straight ahead from Leicester Square. Their chocolate cake is reaaaaallyy good! Recommended!

I love this restaurant and it never disappoints. The food is excellent, freshly cooked and served on hot plates. I have tried several of the dishes but my favourite is the risotto fruiti di mare. My friend enjoyed her pizza. The service is very efficient and friendly and there is a very cosy and relaxed ambience. We will definitely be... More

Went for a meal after a matinee. It was unusually full but they were able to find us a table upstairs. Service was quick and friendly. Food was excellent, and the bill seemed a lot cheaper than I was expecting. Would definitely recommend.

We visited last night with our two daughters. The staff were very welcoming to us and the food was very good. They accommodated my 7 year old with a smaller portion of the bolognaise. My bass was superb and my husband was still talking about his cheesecake today. Very good attention to detail like a deliciously sweet strawberry on my... More

This is a lovely Italian restaurant tucked away right next to the Leicester square station. We came here for my partner's birthday and the experience was really pleasant! The food is well prepared and beautifully presented, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is quite relaxed. The only annoying thing is that a 10% tip is automatically added to your... More

Booked here for a pre-theatre meal (using Tastecard - which meant we actually got all the food half price - which made it even better!!). The restaurant is ideally located right across from Leicester Square tube and near all the theatres/cinemas/shops. We booked for an early dinner - 5.45pm, yet the place was already packed. The interior was bright and... More

I booked this restaurant for it's convenience to the theatres and the reviews I'd read confirmed it was a good place to eat. I had a pasta dish and my Mum had the sea bass, both dishes were very enjoyable and good value. I ordered olives to start and had only eaten 3 when our meal arrived. Perfect for if... More

We turned up on spec and were accommodated with no fuss even though the restaurant was full. We were served quickly by a very friendly waiter with absolutely delicious food. We were so pleased we couldn't get in elsewhere!

In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.
