We wandered into this restaurant off Leicester Square on a Monday night and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. We had the lasagne and spaghetti bolognese and both were delicious and large portions. We also had the chocolate fondant for desert which was beautiful, a must for chocolate lovers. The prices were very... More

We happened upon this little Italian restaurant on a walk through London. It is very casual, comfortable and delicious. We went back the next night because we wanted to try the pizza . It was a delicious thin crust version. Wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing dinner!

Five of us attended for lunch. Classical Italian decor, not pretentious. Made to feel welcome by attentive staff. We always aim for independent traders. We're impressed.

My first visit to this little family run (I think) restaurant, although my daughter and husband had been before. Five of us went on a busy Saturday lunch time, without booking, but a table was quickly set for us, and service by Mario was excellent, in spite of so many customers. Food was delicious and freshly cooked, and portion sizes... More

Chose to eat here following the theatre. Initially shown to a tiny, tiny table. This I refused and were about to leave when another member of staff showed us another available table (one of a number!) Ate a starter of calamari between two, after a seafood spaghetti and a chicken rigatoni. Both very good, service improved over time. No complaints... More

From previous experience in eating lovely Pizza in Piazza in other country we selected this one to taste Pizza over Jack Potato. Err.... The Pizza was horrible, I asked for Oregano and the waitress didn't even know what was oregano, I had to pull of my mobile and show the picture of oregano herbs and explain her that we normally... Description
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.
