We found this place whilst moving from Pub to Theatre and what a great find. The staff were so friendly and the food was lovely. Will definitely visit again

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in the West End, certainly a change from the 'chain' restaurants like Prezzo/Zizzi/Bella Italia The staff are friendly and attentive, menu varied and delicious They also accept Taste-card (a discount card), whilst you do need to book in advance I've always found 30 minutes is enough.

The restaurant looks and feels like authentic Italy! I ordered the Salmon with a side of vegetables, and my fellow diner ordered a pizza with a side salad and another side of calamari. I tasted all dishes and the quality was amazing. I received the biggest piece of salmon I have ever eaten, it was cooked perfectly. The price is... More

we were a party of ten people who ate here last night and loved it! Every single starter and main course was really lovely. Staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Italian food in a central location right across the road from Leicester Square underground station. I'm struggling to understand... Not surprising this place was the only place in the area that never had a queue out of the door to get a table. People probably knew better then us that it is a disaster. The Bruschetta was soggy with tomatoes of questionable quality and very thin on everything else. The carbonara was disgusting. Starchy stuck together spaghetti that had... More

Carbonara - awful - came from a packet. Overcooked pasta and bland watery sauce. They should be ashamed. Parmesan - its fake processed stuff. Unforgivable. Steak - biggest joke in London. Tough, chewy. And it came in a peppercorn sauce with RAW PEPPERCORNS - totally inedible and disgusting. Veg were nice Tiramisu - bought from a shop. Bland. Service -... More

Welcomed by staff and drinks on table within a few minutes. Lovely pizzas, best we have tasted anywhere for many a year. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and courteous service. Clean and with soft lighting. Give this independent a go.

The best pizza I've ever had (Diavola). I could taste every single fresh ingredient. Portions are great, service is great. Is a little cramped in here when it's busy but it doesn't matter. My Mum had the Pollo Siciliana which she said was gorgeous. Best toilet seats ever.

I've been here 3 times now, most recently for my 65th birthday. We had great food, including gluten-free for my companion, and the staff made me feel really special on my birthday

In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.
