We found this little place on the Gourmet Society website as I have a card. Reservation made online the night before and I got an email confirmation first thing the next day. The restaurant is in a perfect location right by Leicester Square station. It's quite an unassuming little place from the outside and once you're inside it's small and... More

This wonderful Italian took us all by surprise. It looks very unassuming from the outside but the food, service and wine were excellent. We went after the pre theatre rush so the staff were relaxed and attentive. Its central location (opposite Leicester Square tube station) is brilliant for meeting people or for relaxing after a hard day visiting the sights.... More

Looking for a relaxed restaurant, at a reasonable price, with tables sufficiently far apart that I could actually hear my guest! Ticked all those boxes, and an excellent meal and good value, particularly bearing in mind the location. Better still, absolutely no pressure to vacate the table as conversation flowed. Will certainly use again.

Convenient to theatres and cinemas, though small enough you might miss it if you walked by. Nice Italian food, I enjoyed spaghetti with mussels, clams, artichoke hearts and olives. Service was a little scattered, but I was not in a hurry--plan plenty of time if you eat here. Cozy, good food, friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Came here before went to the theatre and the food and service was excellent. Very large portions so be careful ordering too much. I had chicken which was great and my friend had pizza which looked just as good.

Googled a restaurant in Leicester Square and Piazza came up, it's right opposite the tube station. Great find, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The decor was cool and even though it's a small restaurant (more seating upstairs I believe) it didn't feel cramped. The service was lovely and we really enjoyed our meal there. Thanks!

Between three of us, we had a starter of garlic bread, followed by three mains (spaghetti bolognese, lasagne and pollo siliciana - all very good but the latter two were particular hits!) and two delicious desserts (profiteroles and lemon tart). Plus a gin and tonic and a Coke, and with tastecard it only came to £40! Really good value for... More

Not a fancy place, but the quality of the food and the smooth service were much better than we expected. Good value for central London.

Description
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.
