We had a great meal and the service was very good, the decorations are i.m afraid awful, specially the Bathroom one.

I went to this restaurant thinking maybe the reviews were not completely fair but other reviewers were right. The food is reheated and expensive but the worst part was having lunch while a queue of people were trying to check in at the hostel whose reception was at the entrance of the restaurant. And 12% service charge!!A complete joke... I... More

Visited on Saturday at 8pm with four Russian friends. Restaurant is situated in the basement of the building. The man who served us was rude, aggressive and arrogant. The food was okay but grossly overpriced microwave grub. The butter portions served with the bread showed a use by date of March 2014. When I explained to the waiter that we... More

Spent last Saturday evening at the Restaurant as daughter's boyfriend is Russian and was homesick for Russian Food. Never been before. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food hot. We tried alot of different starters, no complaints. Main course was fine. Kept on offering us to stay on for the night club at no extra charge. We didn't purely... More

Went here to celebrate my stepmothers birthday, it is an interesting place in terms of decor I must say. We were seated in a booth with balloons and expensive Venetian masks hanging on each side, wouldn't really call that very Russian. My father used to go Russia for business travel and asked if they had a certain type of Vodka.... More

We have booked my mum's birthday party in this place, and later found out that it was a huge mistake. The quality of food was absolutely appalling. First of all it was not fresh and the presentation was just awful! I am not sure if their chef has got any idea about cooking at all!Music was old russian rubbish pop,... More

This place is a little bit hard to find, but it has a very interesting design inside - worth a visit. There are a lot of tables + VIP room, the main room has 'booths' with different settings which we found very unusual and cool. Prices are very acceptable and the food is tasty. Especially chicken shashlyk. The staff were... More

Two of my reviews ended up being deleted but I will continue to write one on this so called restaurant until people can see my review as it is by far the worst place I have ever been to in my life. The food is vile. The staff are vile. Everything about this place is vile. Do not go here.... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
