We went for a late breakfast on a very rainy morning. I had eggs royal and my boyfriend avocado and poached eggs on bread. Food was delicious, portions generous and drinks were also very good, with fresh orange juice and a fluffy americano, maybe the tea was a bit too expensive for what it was... Staff was very nice and... More

Warm welcome, excellent bread and jams, truly wonderful coffee, the best I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

Having failed to get in to the Ivy cafe we decided to try Aubaine for an early lunch. The menu provided a good choice and the quality and portion size of the starters were lovely but the mains slightly disappointing but perhaps we made a poor choice going for the festive menu . We were one of the first to... More

Randomly stopped for dinner here. The food was decent but not for the price. I got the steak burger and my husband for the fish and chips both were okay but we had better food at other places in London for less money. Service was okay. Wouldn't go back.

Located in Regent Street's Food Quarter this great french restaurant is perfect for lunch and a nice break from shopping at Regent Street and the surrounding area. We have been a number of times for a light lunch and have always left satisfied with the quality of the food and the excellent service!! In fact it often turns out that... More

We had a late lunch here so the restaurant was quiet. We all liked our food. The service was good; they even modified the menu to accommodate one of us. Their chocolate eclairs are terrific!

Three of us dined here and chose the Christmas Prix Fixe Menu which offered a good selection to choose from at a very reasonable price for central London. We all enjoyed our particular choices, and found them to be well presented, tasty, and the desserts a welcome change from the usual Christmas menu choices. The service was friendly, efficient and... My wife and I stumbled across this lovely french eatery one friday lunchtime before a Christmas party. We were greeted warmly by the staff and perused a comprehensive menu before ordering the baked Camembert to share as a starter, two main dishes of salad and mussels (which were some of the best we've ever had), complemented with a crisp white... dropped in with the girls late afternoon and all we wanted was a nice coffee and a little cake! came upon Aubaine, a french restaurant/cafe bar. very pretty and nicely set on the corner of the street. we had coffee and cakes (not much choice for gluten free), but what i had was ok, nice place though. service ok, pricey.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
