A 2 course meal for £15 isn't bad at all, and the food was good - especially the fish in the boulabaise, (fish soup). A quiet evening with tasteful, quiet music so a conversation could be had without battling to be heard or to hear.

We went here for dinner last night. We wanted a seat outside because we were with our dogs. The staff were fantastic, brought water out for the dogs straight away. The food was really tasty. We had bouillabaisse and the sambas with risotto and shared a cheeseboard to finish. Towards the end of the meal the restaurant wasn't busy and... More

I've been here a few times and the staff are super accommodating and friendly. Surrounded by a sea of screaming kids, Gabriel thoughtfully offered me a quiet table in the garden. Will definitely be coming back!!!

I often go to Aubaine after a trip to the Royal Academy. It is friendly and the food is reasonably priced and good. My friend and I shared a sharing plate which had a good selection of ham, cheese, olives etc. I then had the salad nicoise. It was good but a little heavy on the dressing. Next time I... More

The location is very pleasant especially after shopping around Regents Street. However, do not expect good service. Staff is mostly very young and with no professional training. Food is fine. The tea actually served (a lousy cheap teabag) is not up to the fancy menu description.

Had a good night out with friends, great location central and easy to find. Pretty place with comfortable seating. Service average not particularly attentive. Food was well presented and was hot on arrival, but to my standard was pretty average. Lemon tart was good. Atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. Pretty good value for that part of London and not too... More

We reserved for the evening set menu. Food was very pleasant although portions weren't huge. The wine list is pretty steep even for the West End with only the house wine (just) under £20 and some fairly ordinary wines at close to £30 or considerably more. We enjoyed our visit and service was friendly, though we hadn't really expected to... More

This particular location was great because it was on Heddon, side street off Regent Street. Nice to stop at a French bistro for a relaxing lunch after walking up and down Regent street. I enjoyed my mussels - I've never had such a generous portion.

Popped in today whilst shopping with my family. Very sloppy service, waiters all hanging about chatting whilst we waited for them to take our order. We only had coffees but even when they arrived I had to ask for milk! Servers couldn't care less. Manager seemed annoyed with the rah staff due to their attitude. Expensive coffees, terrible service and... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
