Did not actually get as far as eating. The wine was only the house by the glass. As I only wanted one glass I asked to taste it first..it was dreadful. No Pinot by the glass. The waiter was rude and dismissive.. he suggested I had a soft drink instead... Em no..either sell decent wine or expect to lose customers....prefer... More

Nice environment and good wait staff. The food was amazing especially the Peking duck. However, we ordered fried watons and were never given them and the menu was confusing with the wait staff not being able to explain the ordering process. Other than that great food and I would recommend.

I have been going here to years and went on Sunday to find that the standard is still good. Its not the greatest dim sum, but the price is reasonable, and, contrary to the critical reviews, we had excellent service. For newbies and non-Chinese it has a photo guide to the dim sum but it still have lots of Chinese... More

Loved our visit here! We were surrounded by Chinese families, which is always a good sign of great Chinese food. Staff were abrupt at times, but helpful. Great value for money. We had a set menu for £20pp. Great location off Leicester Square. Just a little bit tooooo salty for this Goldilocks!

Dined here recently with my family and found this Chinese restaurant to be very expensive! My wife and me have been using this restaurant for some years now and always found it the best in China town. If you were Chinese you don't get the menu and order, you basically just sit down and food arrives in abundance? Won't be... More

We came here for my birthday this evening. We ordered a whole duck (which we underestimated how big it was), char siu, beef brisket noodles and egg fried rice between three of us. It's easily the best Chinese I've had in Chinatown. Generous portions, great quality, friendly service. Will go again.

Just came back from girls dim sum lunch here. Service - efficient, and yes they will hurry you out of the restaurant after you have finished - there was a queue of customers waiting outside for their Sunday Dim sum, so to be expected, reminds me of Hong Kong though. Food - all fresh and good. No remnants of old... More

After a bit of research, we decided to go to this restaurant for dim sum. The place was busy. Service was fine. Dim sum was good. But nothing outstanding though.

A most enjoyable experience.I came here in a party of three and shared mainly dim sum and one noodle dish. The only criticism I can give is that I wish I could have had more!We had a bit of a shock when our Hong Kong style cheung fung was actually just a pile of noodles in a peanut sauce.Absolutely fantastic and... Went with a friend, was a recommendation. Pleasantly surprised with the reasonable price, efficient service and good quality dim sum. Like any other restaurant in chinatown be prepared to be subtlely ushered out after you finish your meal - there's no hanging about here! The restaurant is narrow and tall (4 floors), with a tiny lift for transporting customers up... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
