We had a nice meal here before going to a concert at The Royal Albert Hall. Everything was tasty and nicely cooked. Service was pretty quick and efficient and friendly. Good place to go pre-concert, and it's just round the corner from the Underground and...only 10 minutes' walk from RAH.More

The staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. We showed up with a larger than booked group and they instantly rearranged the tables to accommodate us. The pasta carbonara was authentic with real Italian giuncaie instead of bacon and cream. The pizzas had crisp...edges and high quality toppings. The meat and cheese antipasto platters were generous and very tasty.More

Hi Bob, I am very happy you had a good time and enjoyed the meal. I am particularly happy that you recognise the food. We use only the proper ingredients or we don't do it at all. The guanciale is a roman guanciale, and the...More

We tried it at the beginning of our 9 days vacation and wanted to go back. Both time, we were very satisfied by the food quality. It’s an excellent price/quality offering. We would strongly recommend to all Italian food lovers.

We booked a table for four for lunch Wednesday lunchtime, and being mid week it wasn’t very busy. Our meals were excellent, and all freshly cooked. We asked for a small side salad to go with our pasta (not on the menu), and the lettuce...particularly was very fresh and crisp. We particularly recommend the sea bass for mains, and tiramisu for dessert. We shall certainly be making a return visit next time we’re in the area. It was lovely to find such a great restaurant close to the museums, and the bonus was it was a great place to celebrate my birthday.More

Found this place whilst looking on Trip Advisor, for a venue near the Royal Albert Hall... actually around 13 minutes walk away. Really pleased with our choice; really good meal and friendly, efficient team. Booked in advance which is probably advisable, given the busy vicinity....Interior authentic, rustic and simple, but clean and comfortable. Would definitely return! Thank you!More

My son and I came here for a pizza for lunch on a Saturday day out in London. The restaurant is family run and rustically/traditionally decked out and was reasonably busy. The pizzas were pretty large and tasty and served pretty quickly.

We visited on a Saturday evening and were glad we booked. At 7:30 it was very busy. The food was excellent. I would recommend the mussels as a starter. We all had pizza and they were big (Roman style rather than Neapolitan I think). The...service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The bill for four of us all having starters, main courses and a shared dessert along with drinks came to £150 with the service charge which was pretty reasonable for London.More

My recent visit was my second at the restaurant. As before, service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and airy. Food is absolutely delicious and really well priced. I highly recommend, for dessert, the seadas, which is a fried cheese in pastry...with honey - delicious!More

A restaurant that has that family-run vibe in central London. The service was friendly and professional and overall very good. The food was lovely! We were very satisfied with both our starters and our mains , the lasangna and canolli were a stand out.

Delicious pizzas, efficient service & comfortable atmosphere. The perfect choice to eat before a show at the Royal Albert Hall: a gentle stroll later, we were in our seats for the evening’s entertainment. And did I mention the pizzas? So tasty! We hope to return...next time we’re in London.More

The staff was very inviting, coming out to invite me in which was nice. That is where the good service stops. I was not offered water. No bread while waiting for entree. My entree was 3 thick pieces of pasta filled with mushroom paste for...19 pounds or $24. The sauce tasted of “Better Than Bouillon”. The added gratuity of 12.5 % was not appreciated. This is a skip.More

Met up with family to have a quick bite to eat before attending a show. We let them know our timescale and everything was prompt without being rushed. Between us we had both sorts of arancini and bruschetta to start, and Italiana and vegetariana pizzas...and fettuccini pasta for mains. All were delicious and promptly served. There are numerous similar establishments in this area due to proximity of museums and the Royal Albert Hall, but this one was excellent and will return without doubt.More
