Lovely little Chinese that looks nothing from the outside and is pretty plain inside but the service is excellent and the food is amazing - if nothing else, try the lotus roots. Knockout.

Delicious food. Only two of us, but we over ordered as usual. Crispy aubergine with minced pork, salt & pepper squid, choi sam with garlic and steamed rice. All were really tasty. The restaurant looks a little shabby from the outside, but don't let that...More

This is good homemade cooking but as others have said over the past two years - the portions are absolutely too big. There is leftover food which some people will not want to pay for. They say the soup is a big portion e.g for...More

The second name of the restaurant at the side of the door in Chinese is Yang Xiezi, the lamb spin, originated from Beijing area by the Mongolian nobles in Qing Dynasty. Lamb is too hot and too much Yang against yin in the summer, so...More

Do not go, and definitely do not eat the ‘prawns’. Worst Chinese I have ever had in my life. The chicken chow mein was average. Avoid the Sichuan chicken unless you like it pink!

Really authentic Chinese food, a must visit if you're in the area! Portions are generous so it's best to go with a friend (or more!).

ShanShuiJian is a definite one of the top Chinese restaurants in London. I feel so grad that I am living not far and be able to order takeaway whenever I feel lazy to cook. Staff are friendly and the price is reasonable as the portions...More

Not much to look at from the outside or the inside, but it's proper chinese food here. Normally I'm put off by anywhere with pictures on the menu, but I'll make an exception here - it's not to tempt in tourists in this case! (Tourists...More

Located next to Limehouse DLR, this place doesn't look like much from the outside (or inside for that matter). The reality is that its underrated and is one of the top Chinese restaurants in London, pound for pound. We ordered the sweet/sour pork (probably the...More
