Charming hotel with very nice service people - we stopped into British museum before having a full tea service. They were very accommodating with a baby. Great selection of teas and the food was good.

This was my second afternoon tea at The Montague, and I was just as pleased as the first time, last year. The tea itself, and the sandwiches, scones, and sweet treats to end were all delicious. Further, I am vegetarian, and they were able to...More

We engulfed in the scones and tea one afternoon at the Montague. The scones were good and came with ample toppings: butter, jam, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce!

I haven't had tea many places, but this certainly seemed like a wonderful example. The tea choices were clearly explained and the treats were delicious. This was a very good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

The food are nice and match the topic of afternoon tea. The range of tea and the taste are great. However, the chairs are putting too close even it is very comfortable. Moreover, I won’t go very often because the food have quite high calories.

Afternoon tea near the British Museum overlooking a pleasant green at the back....relaxed and nice place to sit. The tea was good value and a great way to spend a few hours and escape the general bustle of central London

Decided to drop by for afternoon tea after visiting the British Museum. It had a quaint exterior so that seemed very promising. However, it was disappointing that the tea room was actually very small and cramped. The acoustics were not great either, so if you’re...More

It is £35 but I found the tea to be a bit disappointing for the price and would recommend the ham years hotel which is beautiful and better value.
