After a wonderful tour of Buckingham Palace, we stopped here for a quick bite to eat. We had the Frasier, profiteroles, sandwiches, and juices. The food was very good and the prices reasonable. The location overlooking the beautiful gardens was picturesque and perfect for photos.

I was visiting the Garden Museum and had the good fortune to decide to have a quick lunch here before heading off to other sights. It was a lovely meal. Nothing fancy, not very expensive, but very tasty and amid very pleasant surroundings.

The cafe is currently closed as the Garden Museum is undergoing a major redevlopment project and will re-open early 2017. Will have to save this one for another visit!

Although the menu was fairly limited, the lunch we had was of a high quality and very tasty, the staff were charming and helpful and the cafe compliments the Garden Museum as a whole, which has a very special feel about it. I do so hope the refit does't destroy this unique atmosphere.

We decided to walk to this vegetarian cafe from the Tate Britain to give ourselves a taste of fresh air and meet someone for lunch. It is a short walk (8-10 minutes, if walking slowly), and was well worth it. The setting is really beautiful! Two of us are vegan, and we enjoyed the one vegan option for us (soup... More

First of all, this cafe is called the Garden Museum Cafe and is situated in a church right beside the south side of Lambeth Bridge (not Hammersmith as another reviewer has put - were they reviewing an altogether different place?!). The cafe has limited food to offer (light lunches), but its main attraction (to me) is the wonderful Tradescant garden,... More

The Garden Cafe in Hammersmith, london is an amazing family run independent cafe. Food is exquisite and coffee of good quality. Madhi cannot do enough for his customers. Highly recommend the wraps, cakes, juices and coffee. Best in their area!

My son has just moved to Kennington and is finding new places to eat, serving his type of food and he found this cafe and took my friend & me there, It was aptly named and indeed a sanctuary making it hard to believe one was so near to everything. I would definitely recommend. There are other places we went... More

If there is a secret garden in London, the Garden Museum and its café is my secret garden. The tiny museum and its café is tucked away in Lambeth and yet a stone's throw away from crowded spots like Tate Britain, the London Eye, and Big Ben. The café inside the museum, a former church, is a small, lovely place,... More
