Incredibly rude staff (or one staff member in particular), we felt like we were being pushed out cos we weren’t the “right” clientele Would not recommend

Stopped in for a quick pint. Service was fine, water was free and not bad. Had a pint of the ale on tap Doom Bar. Place looks like it is well patronised. We’re thanked by the bar girls as we left.

This pub is conveniently located next to Borough station and boasts some very friendly staff with a wide range of alcoholic drinks and numerous seating opportunities. Great for a drink whether alone or with friends.

Was going to the Monday night quiz and didn't have time to eat beforehand so wasn't expecting much as not generally a fan of pub food. However opted for the small plates at 3 for £15 and had 3 quality dishes worthy of a good...More

Very friendly staff, great selection of beers. Plenty of tables. Full, not too full, friendly people and right beside Borough tube in London. Hannah excellent at helping us to organise a follow up visit over email, confirming matches being showed.

Sub £15 roast. Quality wise its up there with Hawksmoor and a fiver cheaper. Beers decent, though nothing in the fridge. Southwark has dozens of great breweries but sadly aren't represented.

This used to be a frequent haunt due to its convenient location and nice but unassuming decor; food was good but not overly thrilling. Went back for Sunday lunch this week after having moved out of the city and frankly was blown away. A huge...More

Nice pub with good food, can get crowded, I don’t know if they have backpack conventions in there but sometimes I feel left out, dodging swinging backpacks with a beer in your hand can be very dodgy, sometimes I feel like starting a campaign where...More

We had a good dinner here. For a Monday evening it was busy but the food was good so maybe that explains. I personally had the Cod an chips (£13) and that was very good. Unfortunately I could only get mashed peas instead of garden...More
