I’m delighted that The Coach Makers in Marylebone Lane, for years feeling a little forlorn and unloved, is at last fulfilling its potential as pub, restaurant, cocktail bar and private venue, spread over three floors. It has been taken over by Thomas Cubitt which runs...More

A lovely little place in an exquisite neighborhood! An excellent welcome and presentation of the menu and dishes of the day. The floor manager Sebastiano very prepared in recommending dishes, especially for celiacs in my case. I advise

The Coach Makers is a recently refurbished pub and in spite of the fact it’s written here that it closed , it’s actually opened. We had a nice fish and chips here and very good beer . This is a child friendly pub and the...More

Visited just 2 days after their official opening and while they were evidently having a couple of teething problems the overall experience was excellent. The Coach Makers Arms has been tastefully decorated in true Cubitt House style. The food, despite a slightly longer than acceptable...More

Nice pub but the blonde barmaid is the most miserable and rude person I've ever met. Mumbled, could look you in the eye, couldn't find anything on the till, couldn't pour a drink, threw my receipt at me. See I'm not the only one to...More

Nice pub. Great location. Functional bar staff that are not very welcoming. Quite good real ale selection but unfortunately sold cold like lager instead of warm as would be normal. Needs better staff, or at least better staff training and ale served at proper temperature.

The pub itself is in a lovely building with a great selection of beers and ciders. I've eaten here once and the mussels were dirty, not just gritty, and the staff were unapologetic. The music is pretty loud sometimes, as are the clientele, so in...More

We ordered 'Skinny fries' with our mains. The main took an unusually long time to arrive, and it did so with some cold, slightly floppy fries that were dusted in fine salt. It slowly dawned on all 3 of us eating that these were, unquestionably,...More

Bit of a shame. 5 of us met for food and drink. Food pretty poor and service was surly and rude, bordering on hostile! Positives-good location, nice atmosphere and pretty good value for drinks. There are much better pubs nearby so wont return.

Being first time visitors to London, we weren't sure where to stop for some early evening food and beverages. The Coach Makers happened to be on our route we chose so we stopped in. The atmosphere was relaxing and Karl, our waiter, was wonderful. He...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
