Called in here after taking our son back to London. Enjoyed a very tasty lunch. Very friendly staff and overall not expensive.

£5.80 for a pint of shandy? Utter rip-off. My companion said her wine was also ridiculously expensive. We'd gone there for a meal. We didn't bother staying once we'd finished our drinks.

Never had been before. It’s usually a busy pub in the evening however, I never had a chance to pop in for some food. We went with a friend for the Sunday roast. Good food for a reasonable price.

Busy without being overcrowded, table booked and ready, the menu was standard fare with a twist which made for a fun choice and the food was really good. I will return to try some more of the menu.

This Victorian pub was close to our hotel and other reviews seemed good so for ease we decided to give it a try, entrance is through a very lively bar and then upstairs to the dining area. This is nothing flash, quite basic looking out...More

8 of us ate here for lunch following a visit to the Shard earlier this month. Downstairs is a lovely restaurant area with low ceilings, beams etc and full of charm. The food was outstanding, all arrived at the same time and was piping hot...More

I visited in a large group and it couldn’t have been better. We were given a private dining room, the staff were amazing and the food was delicious and all arrived on time. Great vegan options too. We’ll be back.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
