Christmas food was good well presented especially the risotto with a drizzle of pesto and a piece of grilled sea bass. If this is on the standard menu, it should be added its very tasty. My only niggle was the space between seats we had no elbow room between chairs. One to keep an out for if yoi have a... More

Everything was very good. Staff was lovely and the service was absolutely excellent. Tasting menu is perfect in size and taste. You should try the fried squid. Would definitely go again!

Modern restaurant, good atmosphere. The food was poor (just the cappuccino was really good). Hard and greasy pancakes. Eggs benedict royale with little salmon and hollandaise sauce like mayonnaise. Friendly staff

i went on Friday night in a large group and we had a set menu. All I can say is that the food was really bad. The starters were mediocre, chicken satay was not chicken breast and the sauce was very bland, the mushrooms on bruschetta were soggy and lacked flavour. The main course of fish and chips - the... After crossing the Millenium bridge from the South Bank and walking past St Paul's we found a great place to stop for a drink. They have a friendly atmosphere and staff and a great range of beers. We didn't eat but the menu looked really good - next time.

The waiter/waitress was helpful, the setting is lovely but it's too pricey for what you receive. I know London is more expensive than other places but I find £5 for a sausage sandwich ridiculous. We weren't even provided with butter for the sandwich & also the bread was so small I had to cut my sausage link in half &... More

I came here with my boyfriend for dinner. We had such an amazing time, even though we just couldn't keep our eyes off each other. We had drinks at the bar first and I must say our bartender Neeka was amazing, she recommended some amazing cocktails which we had. Mine was a la magia, so defo recommend that one. When... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
