The food is excellent with many original dishes. It is reasonably priced too. Our waiter wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed though, but we ended up having both the dish he brought by mistake, and the one we originally wanted. Therefore we didn’t mind...More

Not the best Chinese food. Portions are quite small and some of the food is overly salty and the quality of it isn't that great. You're better off going to Leicester Square (London's Chinatown) for better Chinese food.

Yummy meal, friendly helpful service. Great place for meal with friends. Slightly under spiced for us, the one chilli symbol didn’t have too much heat, but all delicious.

What a great restaurant. Fresh food and plenty of it. Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, dim sum appetizer, egg roll, gong bao prawns. Best of all was the dry wok pork belly and cabbage. Best Chinese ever!

I was looking for a place to eat close to Westminster Abby not thinking Chinese until I saw the Má Là and read some reviews. They are spot-on. This place is great! First, the restaurant is comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. I started...More

In an area of Westminster not full of restaurant choices, we found this place open after a Friday theatre performance and happy to serve a meal at around 10.15-10.30 - good on them for that. Really good crispy duck pancakes, Gongbao chicken and ‘fragrant aubergines’....More

This restaurant serves a wide range of really tasty Sichuan dishes ranging from quite mild to spicy with indications on the menu as to the degree of heat. I enjoyed a range of dumplings, chicken, meat, vegetables and seafood. There is generous space between the...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Mala Sichuan brings you the best in authentic Sichuan cooking, with truly exotic flavours designed to stimulate and excite the senses. Award-winning chef Zhang Xiaozhong, former head chef of Barshu and The Shard's Hutong, has created an exquisite menu, offering a balance of delicate and irresistible dishes. Whilst some of our offerings are spicy, our diverse range of traditional banquet dishes to sumptuous street snacks has plenty of subtleties for those with a gentler palette, each artfully crafted to capture the sweet, sour, bitter and aromatic tastes that make Sichuan cuisine so unique.
