For an area with so many pretentious or chain affiliated pubs, this is a real gem. Best place in that area of London for Cask beer too. Something for craft and traditional beer lovers alike. Nice fish tank too!

An absolute treasure, good independent traditional pub but run by a landlord with an eye for the modern drinkers who clearly takes pride in his pub and is interested in his clientele.
Ordered the roast chicken and the herb roasted mushroom both with their recommended ales, which I must say complemented the food nicely.
The gravy had a lovely aroma of roast chicken and I mopped the plate with the Yorkshire pudding it was so good.
