Open relatively late in a quiet area. Great burger that was cooked pretty well to order. Good fries. The wine we got was just ehhhh. If I'm buying a Cotes du Rhone over 35 pounds, this close to France, it better be good. Overall, it's...More
A drink I ordered took a bit of time getting to me, and without me moaning it was "on the house Sir!" .. When does that ever happen?
The food was great, look out for the "Grill of the Day".. Beer and Wine selection also...More
Restaurant in the Marriott in Kensington. Unassuming quiet but the food was a WOW! Lunch was delicious. Super grain salad not to be beat. Added grilled chicken topped it off. Staff very accommodating and kind. Have not tried it for dinner but will consider doing...More

Situated in the glass walled atrium of the Marriott. Had buffet breakfast here three mornings. Nice selection with excellent omelet bar. Pleasant staff. Well worth it. The only caution is that it can be cool during cold winter morning. The staff know which tables are...More
Cast Iron is hotel based restaurant. It is OK and offers a relatively limited choice of dishes (some set option are OK, though). IMHO, may not be a good choice for dining, unless you are a business traveler looking for "something" here and now. Breakfast...More

We booked a table for dinner here as it was just around the corner from our hotel. Figured we couldn't go wrong with Marriott. We were wrong. On arrival we were advised that the restaurant was going to be busy with large parties so we...More
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
