so. I heard this place did the best chicken wings this side of the American deep south. They weren't wrong!! Just amazing, the wings came with a buffalo glaze and a blue cheese dip, accompanied by a great pint of IPA. It was so good,...we shared 3 plates! And wanted to order more and more, however we restrained ourselves ( it wasn't easy) The experience from start to finish was second to none. The staff extremely professional and courteous. The food, absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended for a visit..well done.More

The wine was warm on a really scorching day. The food was average the chips looked like left over refried if I’m honest. They were hard as a rock.

This is such a fun spot. We sat outside on the canal and enjoyed fish and chips and beer. We had a great time and conversed with a number of locals. Totally delightful!

I had a couple of drinks within the union tavern and I met this really friendly and kind bar maid called morgana she treated all of my family like they were her own. we had an amazing time (ps. Thank you Morgana)

Nice, homey atmosphere, great food and lots of good beers = you’ve come to the right place! Located in Notting Hill/Maida Vale, union tavern is placed by the canal and looks really inviting! The atmosphere is friendly and nice and staff is really good. The...menu is just the right size, mixed with salads and burgers, veggie options and meat. Perfect for us where I’m a vegan and my fiancé loves a great meat-burger. We will surely return next time we’re in town!More

Nice terrace on the water. Good selection of beers. Food has never been good so would stick to drinks.

We came here with some friends to have some drinks. Unpleasant bartender who doesn’t look happy to have customers in the pub, really annoyed en stressed towards customers. It is also weird they don’t have card with drinks because there is a wide choice of...beers and ales. I wouldn’t recommend this pub.More

I live locally and have been coming for years. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, great selection of beers and ales. That remains the case. My one bugbear, which is a major one, is the falafel burger. This vegetarian main course has in recent months become insultingly...tiny. I kept trying, thinking it was maybe a blip, and then just a small batch. I was there today and it was smaller again, which I didn’t think was even possible. I don’t understand - this can’t be an efficient cost saving measure. Dried chickpeas/falafel mix costs very little. The work involved in making a tiny burger is the same as a normal sized one. And it looks so pathetically small sitting in the middle of the bun that they may as well just call it a single falafel in a burger bun. It’s just so needlessly stingy. I would happily pay more for the extra maybe 10p in ingredients it would cost to make this a proper sized burger. Instead I just won’t be eating there again. I have raised this issue with staff who seem not to care or even be aware that this is not even a burger at this point. My feedback felt on deaf ears so I gave up. Maybe management will see this post and make the changes I have suggested many times over in person. Unless and until they are willing to go back to the way they used to do this, I am throwing in the towel. The bridge house pub on the canal in Little Venice does a fantastic Beyond Meat burger which is a proper size.More

Went here twice on our trip, and both times it was absolutely delicious. The fish and chips are perfect, the wine and beer selection is sure to please almost everyone and the dessert we had (the apple and pear crumble) was possibly the most delicious...thing I ate on our trip.More

Possibly one of the worst pubs I’ve been to for service and value for money. Most of veg menu changed for vegan one 👎🏽. Asked if I could change vegan cheese for normal on nachos but they said it comes like that and can’t change!...Now I’m no master chef but I’m sure u put the cheese on afterwards. Anyway it was the most vile foul thing I have ever tasted and my colleagues thought so too. Management heard us complaining but did nothing. Just the whole attitude was bad. Also drink prices where ridiculous almost £9 for 2 x pineapple & lemonade. V won’t be back there and neither will my friends or family.More
