We enjoyed a 'Steak and Ale' Pie Lunch in this Pub very recently and it did not disappoint both taste and price wise. The location on Middlesex Street is very historic and the atmosphere is extremely pleasant - very close to Liverpool St Station.

Visited with a friend. Nice blend of history and modern inside with an excellent range of beers. Well known for its pie main meals, which were very tasty

Lovely burger, but the crumble was dry and quite disappointing! We would return, however, as the staff were simple excellent.

Dined with some old friends, most of us choose the pies which were lovely, one person chose a goats cheese salad and was served the hazelnut one instead. Three of us made the mistake of ordering the apple "and blackberry", which had no blackberries, little...More

The menu outside said breakfast was served until 12. We came in at 11.35 to be told that they'd just stopped doing food. We were told we could wait 20 minutes until the next service started. No thanks.More
